We've eaten here a couple of times and always get the same thing. Each time our meals a delicious and well cooked. They're definitely consistent. The fish has a nice light crumb and the chips are great!! Lots of salt! Good portion sizes. They're pretty busy so I would recommend ordering ahead and doing a pick up.

Great prices and value for money. Also love how super friendly staff are. Plus the ability to phone and put an order for pickup in is a real throwback to my 90s childhood and its reminiscent of a time before all these faceless Ubereats apps existed.

Great food great prices!, I have been coming here for quite some time, their service and food is top notch. I've been to bigger seafood places whom all let you down.
Peters seafood has never let me down, it's always fantastic and I know I can rely on them to continue produce excellence.
Food 5 stars, value 5 stars, service 5 stars. Honestly if you like seafood this way, then you must try this place, my family from far North QLD also agree.
Their calamari is cooked to perfection, as is thier fish and scallops. I literally can't fault them.

We ordered calamari and it was really fresh, not rubbery at all. We also got snapper and it wasn't as fresh unfortunately. Still, we would buy takeaway from here again to roll the dice on what the quality will turn out to be.

Have been purchasing grilled snapper, calamari and prawns from Peters Seafood every Friday for the last 3-4 years. The food is always amazing and the customer service very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Ordered the seafood basket tonight, so salty and oily that I now feel sick. It's a big shame because I'd have loved to have found a local seafood shop to support. I have no complaints about ordering times and service. Unfortunately, the fish, chips, calamari, seafood sticks, seafood bites and prawn cutlets were awful. Usually drve to Costas Seafood in Capalaba for good fish and chips, won't be experimenting with this seafood shop again.

Hamburger with the lot is huge and delicious. Potato Scallops/Cakes are home made and generously priced. Chips were deliciously cooked and great portions!
Best of all, very friendly staff with great smiles! 🙂

What a great little takeaway. I have always chosen Peter's Takeaway over the limited few in the area because of the simple fact it's what you expect from a fish and chip shop.

Had a burger. $6 for an awesome, tasty burger. Fresh and filling. Just a standard burger. Don't think I could finish one with the lot. But I might give it a go seeing as this one was so good. TBC.

Great place for fish and chips. The place is nothing to look at from a distance, however inside it is kept well, and really clean - I figured we were off to a good start. It is reasonably priced. A pretty good takeaway option for locals

Good!. My husband and I have been on the search for good fish and chips in our area and we've finally found it. If you want your classic fish and chips with large portions (as opposed to beer battered chips and small portions which seems to be common in the area...), this is the place to go.<br/>Chips are good, decent portions. Fish and potato scollops are also good. I did think the calamari ring were a bit tough but we only had them because they came with the pack so I don't care haha. <br/>Compared to what I'm used to on the bayside, the family packs are quite pricey but everything else is priced as normal so next time, we'll just order everything we want separately and it'll work out to be a little bit cheaper for us.<br/><br/>Definitely would recommend to people in the Carina area!

We have this as our local fish n chips. The only thing I don't like us the potato scollops. We get a pack / combo with two included and they have a strange sweet flavour that just doesn't belong. I questioned the staff about what it was and they claimed they use the same batter on the fish which tastes fine. I wish they'd change it. They could also be more generous with the chips. The actual fish and calamari is great though, so until we find somewhere better this is our local.

Agree with previous review.. Pete's seafood is a humble fish and chip shop - not a restaurant. There is a breakfast bar there if one wants to eat, take-away style, but most people just take away. This is the best fish and chip shop I know. Pete is so friendly and the food is fresh and yummy. He grills my Cod perfectly. 10 out of 10.

We go to this fish and chip shop every Friday as the products are so fresh and delicious. We get Cod and they are always really thick pieces and they don't skimp on the chips. The store is run by owner Peter and he always always has a smile on his face. He remembers the regulars and greets them when they walk past even if they're not coming in. The store is always clean and the salad bar and drinks fridge are always stocked. Pete's has been here for yonks and I hope it will stay. Plenty of parking along Old Cleveland Road and there's an ATM about a 50 metre walk to the east. Definitely don't go past Pete's!
