Favorite Malaysian in Brisbane
This outlet provided faster and more efficient service than the one in Westend. Couldn’t say food was nicer as we ordered different dishes, but we were happy with our meals: spicy salt & pepper calamari, pork, fish curry, chilli crab, and deep fried mantau. The iced brew teas were refreshing and not too sweet. Staff was very attentive and helpful.

一定要给满分嗷！香蕉成熟度很高所以够甜，有一个透明的档口现场制作飞饼。趁热一口咬下去酥脆感爆棚！同时又带着一点小筋道的感觉。前一晚吃过之后第二天就忽悠朋友给我再打包两份外卖给我带回家吃！！

Love the prices and serving sizes here! The laksa and prawn mee was great and I appreciate the use of 2 different types of noodles. The place itself is quite nice and spacious from the renovation earlier this year. Would recommend this place if looking for some reliable Malaysian food in the city.
This place is just awesome! Service is really quick although it’s a busy Friday night. The flavours of the food is just spot on Malaysian. This is definitely one of the best Malaysian food joints I’ve been so far in australia. The laksa broth has just the perfect balance of coconut milk with a hint of sweetness. They are also very generous with the portions with an abundance of condiments like prawn, fish balls, fish cake, squid and chicken pieces.
Absolutely loved this place! Tucked away on a smaller street in the CBD I definitely would have to say it’s one of the best Asian eats I’ve ever had! We had their must-buy Singaporean sweet chilli crab, pandan kaya roti, and char kway teo. Very clean and neat ambience for dining too :) perfect for a casual night out!
Terrific spot for a quick lunch or dinner. Busy during usual peak times so best to get in before the rush. Satay chicken has a great kick and noodle dishes are packed with flavour.
Roti Place in the city has recently relocated to Charlotte St, replacing the old Little Singapore that was previously there. I have been to the old Roti Place years ago and it did not leave much impression on me then. However, I have heard good things about it recently and Mr and myself visited it after my doctor's appointment.

We are in love with Roti Place, was our first time trying some Malaysian food and we loved it.
We've here twice already, the first week we tried the Nasi Lemak, some rotis and Mi goreng I think, while we're eating we saw this huge bowls going to different tables but we're already full.☺️ So we decided to come back and try their soup and OMG I was shocked at how good it was the Combination Laksa!! (now one of my favorite dishes) the Nasi Goreng was good too but the soup was the best.
The staff is gentle and young.
I really recommend this place, give it a try!!

Char Kuey Teow was tasty. There were big prawns and sea food in there. Good amount of ingredients.
The table was nice and clean. Our meals came with a timely manner.
Customer service was good. Will definitely come back if I visit Brisbane again.
One thing not as good, the tea pot is quite small. it says it’s for a person, I got maybe 2-3 cups from it, that’s it. Other than that, all is good.
Good location in the middle of the city, parking is horrendous but it is close to Myer centre. This place definitely gives off chic Malaysian vibes. They have a good menu and definitely tasty food. It’s not the best of the best Malaysian food there is but for what they are and what it’s worth, they ticked every Malaysian box. Also, your nostrils would be met with familiar Malaysian aromatics as you enter this joint. Highly recommend the crab dishes given the price point!
What a pleasant experience; speedy service, great meals, great value, and great taste. Given it was Friday lunch time, I was pleasantly surprised about the amount of staff attending to patrons. I enjoyed Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken; yummy. Will go there again!
Great service from Hazel, who was really lovely! Food was great as usual – I especially love the sweet roti. Hazel recommended the salty egg chicken and it ended up being my favourite main.
