The most AMAZING beef roast! We walked in not knowing what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. The main menu was a little pricey so we chose from the specials board. $24 for a beautiful roast. Washed down with several glasses of house red for only $8! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Such a lovely vibe we will for sure be back! Thanks!

Best place to head before anything at Suncorp. Great atmosphere and live music. They have a craft bar too that is constantly changing so love coming back.

My friends and I came here for a weekday lunch. They have updated the interior with the typical furnishings you see at most places these days which is nice. They have a $12.50 lunch special where you can choose either chicken schnitzel, crumbed fish or rump with chips, salad and sauce. If you are after a big feed then choose the chicken over the fish.

Awesome lunch!!. I usually visit here for lunch with some work colleagues and we always have great meals that are great value. The salt and pepper calamari and steaks are great meals!! great atmosphere and good staff.

recommend this place for a good pub lunch!

Awesome Food & Craft Beer!. Went to the Trans for the first time in a long time last week for lunch. I work nearby and noticed a pretty significant refurbishment, once it was finished I went there with some friends for lunch and was blown away with how much it's changed. The quality of the food is amazing and for the price is hard to beat anywhere in the city. The craft beers were awesome and I cant wait to go back on a Friday night to try some more.

Gastro!. The BEST thing about living in the UK is the quality of food at most of the gastro pubs + the old worldly architecture and charm + quality ales. I was happy to find a bit of home at the Trans, 'albiet' and Australian version of it. Hope to be back soon.

Awesome refurbishment. Great to see another independent brisbane pub doing well. It's obvious to see there has been significant investment and thought gone into revitalizing this venue. Food is classic pub style - very reasonably prices and executed by a talented kitchen. Beers and drinks speak for themselves. Well done.

Lovin' the hefty snitz for $12. Haven't ventured to the Transcontinental in a long time, however after hearing it had gone under renovation I thought I'd check it out. The place looks great! Staff were friendly and the music was pumping on a Friday night. The $12 lunch specials are great value too, now one of my weekly spots for lunch and will now be my go to when organising work functions.
