Pretty good Indian! Nice quiet little restaurant on A Sunday night. We tried a few different curries, my family loved the shahi chicken which we hadn't seen anywhere else before, a chicken curry with a cashew sauce and scrambled eggs. The naan breads were really good, I liked the chicken tikka one a lot.
I can't get enough!. I have been coming to himalayan delights since it opened at stafford many years ago and the quality of food has not changed throughout the restaurants couple of relocations. In my opinion it is one of brisbanes best kept secrets. The food is always tasty and always seems fresh. I've never had an issue with anything. Well worth a try!
We frequently get takeaway from this restaurant and find their food excellent. The Rajasthani Beef is a favourite. The service is friendly, if at times a little patchy. Nonetheless a good find in the suburbs.
Good food, average service. The food here is reasonably authentic for a suburban indian/ nepali restaurant. They do thalis, which is a rare find in the burbs. They also do goat meat curry and a few excellent traditional nepali dishes. However the service when we went was pretty bad, soooo slow to take our order, even to bring out water, then the meals took over an hour even though there was only a couple of tables with people dining in. I think they do a lot of take away. Might be a better option if you don't have a lot of time to wait. Don't get me wrong, they are friendly enough but when we went they only had one person manning the front desk and waiting tables. The lady's three year old kid was helping out...
Best Indian/ Nepalese in Brisbane. I went there last night with my family. The food had a real home-cooked taste to it and tasty without the need for chilli. My kids loved dipping the roti and paratha in the sauces.I recommend the traditional Nepalese Thali and the king prawn pakoras. Yum!
Great Indian food. I heard there was a change in management so I took my wife there again a few days ago, and we had a very nice meal.
We ordered the spinach and cheese naan, butter chicken, and lamb rogan josh. Also had a mango lassi and gulab jamans for dessert (we were very full afterwards)
The service was fast and friendly, and food was delicious! We were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

Absolutely Delicious!. I had a wonderful mealt at a truly underrated indian/himalayan restaurant last thursday!
Himalyan delights, a suburbs restaurant, located in Everton Park served the most wonderful curries I have had in some time. The Butter chicken and vindaloo went together especially well with the frangrant aromatic rice and the garlic and cheese naan bread.
The restaurant was also very well presented with brightly painted walls with interesting paintings and tapestry.
This is a restaurant that has managed to turn authentic indian food into a 5 star experience.
I will be returning shortly!
