Giving the higher score for the amazing array of pastries, cakes & breads. My coffee was a takeaway & didn't come up to my desired strength. I felt sorry for the lady who was waiting almost 10 minutes for her takeaway just in front of me. I wasn't waiting quite as long as that luckily!
I found this little gem after my Mekong 2 lunch as I was hankering for a strong coffee. I was quite taken by the beautifully presented cakes, pastries, salads, quiches and breads, especially the sourdough on display.
At 1.15pm this Cafeteria-Bakery-Deli is still full of patrons. At the counter I am greeted with big smiles as I ask for a double shot Cafe Latte. I compliment staff on their beautiful food and they proudly show me what is on offer. I thank them explaining that I have lunched. Staff here are a cheery bunch and with this happy vibe I wait for my coffee.
The coffee looks good with a lovely aroma. It is hot and strong, tasting like 2.5 shots, with a wonderful flavour. An excellent coffee and my best 2018 coffee to date. I have not tried the desserts or food from the Deli but this coffee rates a 5/5! I return to thank the Barista and to leave a gratuity for the staff. Thank you Greenwood and Harvey!
This bakery is too good to be locked up inside a shopping centre. Imagine what it could be outside those opening hour constraints!! The pastry choice is amazing & extremely tasty. The deli selection for meals looks very inviting (we'll try this next visit).
Going by the crowds, they are doing everything right.
