Hidden in an a wide arcade, en route to a supermarket in outer Brisbane suburbia is this little Japanese cafe style restaurant. A wide ranging menu from hot mains, bentos, sashimi, tempura and all the usual offerings. was fresh, all made to order, with generous fillings. Donburi bowls were great, perfect lunch fare. A stand out for me was seafood udon soup, the broth itself was delicious, plenty of noodles, topped with prawns, a mussel, scallop and a baby octopus! Service was unobtrusive. We had to ask for water but were hastily obliged. If I lived near here, I would come for lunch all the time!
Good food and fast service. A great local asset for Bellbowrie. Only criticism is that they are not so quick to gve out the table water. Ws eat there at least once a week.
I love the Chicken Katsu Curry. It's my go-to local food place. The price is very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. Staff are very friendly and I've always been approached after eating for feedback on the meal. I haven't had a bad experience at all and will continue to return.
Very tasty rolls. Tried tiger roll and avocado, both were huge and yummy. Nice portions for the price you pay.
After having a disappointing experience at the Bellbowrie tavern, my partner and I decided to eat here. We were so hungry we could eat anything. We ordered a chicken katsu curry and a bento box. It was amazing! Perhaps we were super hungry and at this rate, everything would be amazing! I’m happy to say, it was satisfyingly good. The miso soup was authentic. The chicken was crispy and moist. I ultimately enjoyed the sauce and perfectly cooked vegetables. Well done! I’m definitely loyal!
This is one of my favourite places to buy sushi and other Japanese cuisine. It's always a treat.
The atmosphere of the place is cozy, warm, and friendly. The staff are kind, ready to offer a smile as they take your order. The food is always prepared quickly, and waiting time flies by.
Not only is the service quick, either. Each bite of food is bursting with flavour, top quality and wonderfully rich.
The menu has a wide variety of food to choose from, including smaller dishes suitable for kids, to meals for older individuals, to bigger platters that can easily be shared.
Dine-in and takeaway are both available options as well.
All in all, you'd be hard-pressed to find a place as good as this little outlet. I highly recommend it, whether you're a local or whether you're just passing through or otherwise.
Take time out of your week to drop in here now and again, and guaranteed you won't regret it.
