First time having food here the staff were lovely. The wait wasn't too long. I grew up eating lots of flavour-filled thai food so I'm usually disappointed dining out. We ordered the tofu pho and prawn crunchy fried rice (w/o egg).
The pho wasn't bad, it was alright! It needed some crushed peanuts and cashew. The broth clear and had a very strong light soy sauce taste. I tried to find some chilli or something to add to it but was disappointed there wasn't any(very unusual for an Vietnamese place).
My partner had the fried rice, first of all it was huge we couldn't finish it. There was a passable amount of prawns in there but it was very oily. We tried to take it back home but the went everywhere.
We will be back again to try other items on the menu! I'm just so happy it actually has vegan options.
Best baguettes ever! Proper Vietnamese food at seriously cheap prices - under $8 for authentic pork bahn mi. If you love Vietnamese food, you must try Mr Do's. I will definitely be eating here again and again. Yum!
Wow wow wow, the noodle soup, rice wraps and spring roll were AMAZING!! So fresh, it's no wonder you have to wait! WELL worth an extra couple of minutes of waiting. Thank you Mr Do's chef at Carindale.
I struggled finding good Vietnamese food moving from the valley to the Southside. But I have finally found a good Vietnamese eatery after visiting many.
I love the beef bahn Mi and the beef vermicelli noodles. I read previous reviews complaining about the wait times etc but that means that they’re cooking the food fresh, unlike other eateries that reheat the food - If that’s your complaint then goto Maccas.

I regularly get their rice paper rolls as a takeaway snack, which are fabulous, but today thought I would try something more substantial... so had a bowl of Crunchy Fried Rice (Beef). Very Fresh... Very Tasty.. and a massive serving size.. which will do me for dinner as well... Awesome..
