Had dinner here tonight and the service was fantastic. We had a scoopon deal for 2. $29 for 2 people for an 8 course pre-set yum cha meal plus drink each. We were seated reasonably promptly and our drink orders taken promptly. The food arrived approximately 10 minutes later. Unfortunately my fiancé is allergic to prawns so we asked which dishes had prawns. Immediately upon hearing about the allergy, the waiter offered two bring an extra beef item for us so that she would not be missing out. We said that it was not necessary but he insisted because two of the set dishes has prawns. The food was fantastic. The dumplings were moist and hot. The pork buns were amazing. The one item which I felt was lacking was the salt and pepper calamari which was a bit hard. The waiter then returned with not one, but two different beef based dim sims. These were juicy and warm and were very good. The bartender also promptly topped up my water glass as soon as it hit 3/4 empty. One occasion I did not even realize he had topped it up. haha. To top off the night we were given fortune cookies :D Thank you to the waiter who kindly offered the additional dishes. He did not have to do it but it was very appreciated. we had an amazing dining experience, love the river views at this restaurant the hosts were fantastic and authentic.. food was out of control indulgent... would go again!
