Great BBQ place! Really large portions and of great values! My friend and I came at Friday night and were greeted by friendly staff and timely services. The meat and vegies were fresh and there was aslo a decent list of drinks to choose from. Will highly recommed it to other friends!
Great food!!! My favourites are the Miso Ramen, Ginger Pork and the Yakiniku BBQ.
MISO RAMEN:
What I really like is how it reminds me of Hokkaido-style Miso Ramen (think corn) with a bit of a change. They use chicken and it kind of has a nice mirin-marinated flavour. The boiled egg is great in it, too.
GINGER PORK:
I think this is my go-to meal when I want something easy and relaxing. I really love how the pork caramalises. It's sweet but not too sweet and the pickled ginger really tastes great.
YAKINIKU BBQ:
This one is special! I've had this a couple of times with friends. You get your own hot plate and a selection of meats and veggies to cook. The quality of the meat is what makes it so good. Great with beer and friends.
I never leave reviews but this place is so unreal I had to. Best sushi I’ve had. So fresh! The seared salmon treat literally melts in your mouth and the crunchy chicken roll is a must. Have ordered takeaway here many times and it’s always fantastic, but dined in tonight and the staff were so lovely.
Chicken Teriyaki sushi rolls and seared wagyu rice rolls (chef's special) were great and beer was good
However, katsu rice curry's curry was very watery. Also, it was not as tasty as katsu rice curries that we have had at other places.
Went here for the ramen and chicken teriyaki w/ rice lunch specials. The service was great and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. Seating both inside and out.
Ramen was really tasty and good value. Bit too much sweet soy with the rice dish but all in all we'd still go back.
I'm one of their regular customers, always having lunch in there. Love their sushi rolls and Miso ramen. Also, customer service is nice. What's more, the atmosphere of outdoor dining is soothing and relaxing, I love having dinner there with friends as well.^^
Their food is beautiful, the restaurant looks wonderful, the staff are so friendly and i was shocked at how small my bill was compared to everywhere else I've been.
Yummo Sushi is one of the reasons I travelled more than 1,300km to Brisbane From Townsville. This place is a must try especially if you're in West End.

Tonight I had the Miso Ramen, chilli chicken gyoza and beer. I was really impressed. The Miso Ramen was definitely my favourite. It was really nice and I'm definitely having it again. I'd never had chili chicken gyoza before and I was pleasantly surprised. Not too spicy but had a nice flavour. Instead of having Asahi on tap, I had Suntory Premium Malts and wow.. it's a really nice beer.
I'll definitely be coming back. Next time I think I'll either have the teriyaki chicken or the chicken katsu curry. Anyway, I think the name really says it all, Yummo!
