Smoky Pizza Woodfired

Amazing fresh pasta! So yummy and so many great vegetarian options. Started on uber eats ordering it and every experience is great. Haven’t been disappointed

I would just like to mention that smoky pizza is a fine establishment, combined with friendly staff and a great atmosphere, their pizzas are absolutely scrumptious and mouthwatering and they also have to die for pork spare ribs,that taste so delicious. Their pastas and carbonara are magnificent. I would recommend my family and friends and anyone who is a pizza fan, to visit this wonderful establishment and to try their scrumptious food.

Great customer service ever got in brisbane. Authentic Italian pizzas which are handmade fresh made in front of me. Very hygiene toppings. I recommend this place to dine in or takeaways. Wood fired oven hand made base along with authentic pizza sauce.

food was wonderful and reasonable prize. The pizza base one of the best I have had.friendly staff. Food and drink were quick to come out.worth to try I highly recommended to everyone who wants to have a real wood fried pizza. No parking issues.
Can’t wait to go back and try other items in the menu .

With an outside view that entices you in like a cozy log fire at a North Pole Christmas igloo, Smokey Woodfired Pizza promises a lot. Unfortunately tonight, business isn't booming as everyone seems to be next door in the Indian restaurant, but the welcome and service is as warm as my opening sentence, which gets things off to a fine start. 

While sitting down and waiting the obligitory 15 minute wait (more like 10, in reality), amongst the handful of magazines available to read and a radio blasting out the local news and sport, I notice that this restaurant has won a quality award (see photos for more info) which was reassuring. I have been keen to get a better insight into just what this place is made of as a) its local b) the Zomato review is just the one and sounds like a bad experience c) When all the other reviews on other sites are raving about (how good is) the place! 

So, 'The Silician' arrives, and is it any good? Well, its certainly fresh, full of good quality of ingredients and squeezes in 'gourmet value' into this $14 regular size. You can get large for $19. Its basically bacon, ham, olive oil, shaved mozzarella, gorgonzola, mushrooms, olives and Italian Herbs with a tomato base. 

To put it another way, a shedload of pig and cheese. The Pig and Cheese for a new pub name, anyone? Bad ideas aside, I have to emphasise that the pizza had genuine quality cheese and meat that was truly yummy. The failing on this pizza was the lack of tomato (pizza) sauce sadly, which was mainly at the edge rather than in the middle. The taste was good, but with so much cheese and pig goin' on, I needed some tomato relief, baby, but there just wasn't enough coming. 

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Smokey Wood-fired Pizza  - give us more reasons why? Well, for one, Arline, my partner, isn't the biggest pizza fan but preferred it to Domino's. Couple that with the friendly service and nice taste (for reason two and then the hat trick). Although, be tempted to ask for extra tomato (pizza) sauce on the base so you are not disappointed in that department.
