One of the best Mexican restaurants in Brisbane - Tuckeria! Fresh, flavoursome and prodigious sized meals. The cost can be high, however the amount of food that comes out is worth it. The staff are lovely and happy to make suggestions. My only concern is how addictive it can be 😉
Quick cheap Mexican!. We got take away. It was clean and quick and tasted amazing. Entertainment voucher makes it even more worthwhile to. Will be back
Great place for Friday take out, fresh and good value, service can sometimes be a little slow
Just dropped by for a take away burrito and it was amazing. The lunch meal is great value and the service was quick. So happy I found this place !
Spicy pork burrito con todo. EXTREMELY generous portions. By far the best burrito I have had in Australia. Tortilla chips were fantastic. Service was friendly, quick and attentive.
Hidden gem. Just took our 3 children here for dinner. Great Mexican - fresh and well priced. Service was great. Meals came quickly. it is a casual restaurant where you order up at the counter. You can eat at tables outside or in. Love that it is tucked away down an alley in Stones Corner which is getting more interesting with lots of cafés and alternative eating spots. Will definitely be going back.
Yum. Great food ... The tortilla chips were divine - a bag of those and the fresh & I do mean fresh tomato salsa is worth the trip alone!
We had a burrito and an enchilada both were perfect. The right amount of meat & fixings with a beautiful home made (& it was def not from a tube) guacamole. Def going back to try more menu items!!
Nice tasty and cheap food , casual dining, recommend for those looking for a quick bite to eat ..
We were very impressed with the taste of all dishes we had: cheesy chips, beef and chicken burritos, beef and chicken dirty nachos, yum and so filling!
Tuckeria Fresh Mexican - Greenslopes, Brisbane. An up-and-coming area of town with more places to try out popping up, some still are a little bit on the hidden side. As such Tuckeria you have to go down an alleyway - attempting to ignore all suspicions implied - and find a couple of nice finds (this one included, plus a popular coffee shop) plus a couple of ..... more seedy finds.
My dining buddy went out here to get something cheap and healthy, most of what I describe I saw during a drive in the area. The place is colourful and apparently really popular with slushie machines and kids enjoying it as such. However, the real question is how does the food here rate; I am no Mexican coinesseur but this is pretty darn authentic - not the infamous Tex-Mex variety.
First to share, the two of us split a dirty nachos with pork topping. They topped tortilla chips with rice, beans, salsa, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and with choice of sauce on top. Against all that it had, this did not go soggy. It had a really fresh flavour to it with the various ingredients distinguishable. Most would tackle it with a fork, but for me why bother with that?
My main order was a California-style (where they switched rice for fries) Bean and Cheese Burritto with hot chipotle sauce. This sucker was massive and tasty - the sauce had a real smokey flavour to it that infused in the bean mixture upon melted cheese. Every ingredient was of good quality, especially the flour tortilla which never broke or gave way to spilling the contents over the table. How these taquerias manage to have their burritos do that, I commend their efforts.
Cheap Mexican food is getting easier to find in this nape of the woods recently, and that is a great thing. A quick-eat burrito is something that I have found to be a lifesaver.

Great food and really chill atmosphere. The service was amazing and I would definitely come back here even though our order was completely mixed up. Especially considering the cook was super polite and apologetic about the mix-up (which we didn't even notice until he came out to apologize) and he even offered to cook a new meal to rectify the mistake although we didn't think that was necessary. The food was lovely and the staff even lovelier. Seems a little expensive but you get good serving sizes.
Service could have been a bit faster considering my small party was the only one present in the entire establishment- And somehow our order was wrong. Might be a tad bland if you're looking for food that is truly authentic, but the burrito I had was definitely not bad at all. Looking forward to giving it another try.
Ordered burritos to take away. Food was good. Not significantly different to a Guzman y Gomez or Mad Mex.
Great authentic food. Love the Californian burrito
food is great. the place really fits the stones corner vibe. The person on the front counter was a bit distracted but.
I love the Mexican here awesome not too hot they have awesome Mexican cola
