So good, fresh tasty food. We are vegans, and the lovely staff understood what a vegan can't eat and can veganise the stir fry menu. Had a really lovely feeling to the place too.
Unbutton your jeans and get ready to make your tastebuds dance! Seriously though, delicious, reasonable price, and good meal size We'e coming back!
One of the best Thai restaurant I found in Brisbane. Our weekly take away to go place. Love the flavor that remind me much when I was in Thailand. Friendly staff and nice seating environment.
Went here for weekday family dinner. There were few other 'eat-in' diners and it was quickly evident that the Thai restaurant was popular with the locals for takeaway.
We ordered several dishes, including:
- Jungle Curry: a spicy yet flavourful broth-based curry. Recommend ordering a side of steamed plain rice with this one.
- Ruean Phae Fried Rice: a sweet, sticky fried rice, however the seafood was a little rubbery and dry.
- Basil and Chilli Fried Rice (with beef/lamb): a more reasonable balance of sweet and spicy, and generous servings of tender meat.
- Drunken Noodles (with chicken): a solid flat noodles dish with plenty of textures and flavours.
Casual ambience with indoor > outdoor seating available. Friendly and reasonably efficient service - there was only one (very hardworking) server who had to collect and distribute the takeaway orders as well as serve the tables. Reasonable prices for generous portions.
Overall, a solid and unpretentious Thai (takeaway) staple of Teneriffe/Newstead.
Always delicious! This is definitely the BEST Thai food in Brisbane and the staff are always friendly. I have tried most of the menu and everything is fantastic! My favourites are Chicken Laab, Vege Pad Thai and Chicken Popular Entree. Yum.
Basic little place with really good Thai. Reasonably priced with a extensive menu. I found the red curry quite sweet but still very tasty. The stir fry was very good as were the fish cakes which were fresh Good job
Have not had a bad dish from this place. Like to try a different dish each time I order from here and all of them have been amazing. Small quaint place but amazing food
Impressed with the courteous service and the good valued lunch deal-a stir fry or a curry with rice with a soft drink for $10. I decided to go with a flat rice noodle with gravy (Ladna) that wasn't on the lunch deal. It was served in a hot pot; nice and piping hot and accompanied with seasonings (that I had asked for). It tasted just the way it should be-soft noodle, smooth gravy and flavoursome. Keen to try other dishes on the full menu, so would be back sooner. The only downside was the lack of a nice ambience. The restaurant was dated, uncomfortable and there was part of the oily, grimy, kitchen smell.
I had the tofu chicken puff and the fried chicken which were both amazing. Atmosphere and the staff you very good and welcoming. I Will definitely be returning because the menu was so awesome and I want to try everything.
So good, full of flavour and good serving sizes. Was actually our second meal for the night having been left hungry and disappointed early in the evening at a Vietnamese restaurant nearby. Service was swift and friendly with a good vibe. Is definitely on our return list, recommended.
Friendly, unassuming, byo. Sizzling pepper beef is the business.

This place is so amazing! I wish all I could eat was the duck shanks in white wine sauce for the rest of my life... like all day everyday! The meal came super quickly. The staff were obviously well trained in the art of serving. Really. Can't rave about this place enough. Amazing!
