Tahlia & Laughlan have been the best hosts we we have had while we have been at the GC. The service we have had at the Lola’s, has been second to none, Tahlia is the best server we have had.
Lolas Fish & Chips have the BEST Fish and Chips on the Gold Coast. I highly recommend them. I had the crumbed Cod and Chips for $9.95 and it was delicious. I recommend Lolas Fish & Chips, its now my favourite Fish and Chips Shop in Broadbeach and the Gold Coast

Cute little fish and chip shop that also serves up pizzas too... Reasonably priced and not a long wait at all, the only thing though is that it closes in the afternoon which is seriously annoying! Good fish and chips, nothing to brag about but INSANE potato cakes, super crispy and crunchy with self serve chicken salt and visage till your hearts content!
New management. Best fish and chips on gold coast. Any previous bad reviews should be ignored. It's all fresh and cheap. Friendly staff. Delicious.

Lola's Fish and Chips - Broadbeach, QLD. Just next to its namesake cafe is the takeaway paradigm of version; both the two most common takeaways can be found here - pizzas and, of course, fish and chips (burgers as well). It is pretty dolled up for a simple takeaway and there is some friendly service as well.
I was with my sister's friend minding the baby and, feeling like a burger, she knew of this place. What made me really like the place was how the young lady at the counter gave my niece some colouring in while the orders were awaited.
I got a beef burger with the lot: that consisted of tomato, lettuce, cheese, beetroot, bacon, egg and pineapple. There was an option to get it with fries - which is what I got - and another to get the aforementioned and a can of drink. Additionally I got a potato scallop which of course was to go onto the burger. This made for one big burger.
It was really tasty, and as a testament to a good quality burger messy in parts with the items falling out. The fries were really well cooked and were just the right amount before feeling quite full.
So, as abundant as fish and chips can be around the Gold Coast this manages to stand out. It has a friendly and organised vibe that must exude from the cafe nearby. Perhaps the cafe is just as good as here.
A bit tired and could do with a spruce up. However the food is reasonably priced and coffee pretty good. Not the trendy end of Broadbeach but still very nice surroundings. Staff attentive and friendly.
Standard food, but Great service makes all the difference. And we ate for 4 of us for $40, which is unique these days. Enjoyed our hour there, I’m happy to recommend 👍🏻
Eggs Benedict were amazing . Coffee also. Nice and strong . Didn’t meet or hear Lola, so can’t comment 🤣🤣🤣.
Staff well organised and courteous.
