This would have to be one of the best kept secrets on the Gold Coast. Nothing but friendly service and AMAZING food at reasonable prices.
Great food & a fantastic variety of food. Locals have been coming here for years definitely a favourite of mine Licenced but cheap over the bar bowling club. Reasonably priced food must book.
Food is tasty, portions really good and price is reasonable. The wait staff are cheerful and helpful.
The only downside of this place is the location. A bit far from the buzz of Broadbeach and surfers paradise.
But if you have a car do try this joint out. You won't be disappointed.
Fabulous food at Kenny’s Malay. The duck salad is superb! It is in a bowls club so don’t have high expectations RE the setting. It also can be a little noisy inside as it’s usually fully booked but outside is always great. I’ve seen some of the negative reviews and that hasn’t been our experience. We’ve always received fantastic and friendly service. But it is a busy and inexpensive restaurant and our expectations are in line with that.
Food here is pretty tasty. The serves are generous, left with plenty to eat the next day too. To say there's plenty to choose from would be putting it mildly, the menu is huge plus there's more on the specials board. I wasn't blown away but it was good enough that I'd go back again. There's no table service for drinks, you have to get your own from the bar in the bowling club; I think that could be improved. Nice setting, pleasant service
Decent servings, decent food and nice atmosphere. Although, the food tasted more Chinese than Malaysian.
Bangkok fish and duck salad were especially good!
Lovely food, good service, roomy, reasonable prices. Unfortunately not byo but otherwise very nice.
Ist timer. Meal was fresh and really tasty. I had a veg curry and vegetables were al dente. Great portion sizes. Quick and pleasant young waitresses. No need to try other malay or thai restaurant its all here.

The staff have always been very accomodating and love having children in the restaurant which is great .
Hidden away at the Gold Coast bowls club. Nicely affiliated with the pub next door, so drinks are cheap. Meat raffles on Saturdays is fun. Food a bit rich.
