Padre is synonymous with coffee in Melbourne. And there is a reason. Padre has blended, roasted and supplied many of Melbourne’s best cafes with beans since 2007.  Having tried many of their blends at other cafes I was excited to visit their Brunswick East café and roasting house. As soon as you enter, you realise this place oozes coolness. They are serious about quality and passionate about the beans. On a quiet Sunday morning along this part of  Lygon Street, Padre seems to be the only place that is buzzing (and not just from the caffeine).

Busy coffee shop in Brunswick East area. Staff was friendly and nice. It also for mommy who carry the pram with them. Will be back

A goto. The coffee is always good, always efficient. It is balanced. Staff are friendly enough, and for a place that does only light meals and coffee, it does a great job.
