Yummy, crisp pizza with plenty of variety to choose from in a nice location.
I like how the seating spills out onto the pedestrian area. The interior is funky, taking inspiration from music albums giving you plenty to spot while you eat.
The rest of the menu though is pretty basic, I hope you like eggs for breakfast but thankfully pizza is served from 10:30 because really it's never to early for pizza !
Had one of the best bowls of Mushroom Gnocchi.... Hidden gem for good solid Italian Food ... I spoke with the chef asking what he did with a Mushroom Gnocchi would not give it up but he is from Nepal so I think there is a bit of fusion going on at this place . Great service as the waitress suggested I try it .... Tucked away but worth the find
Great friendly staff... Even dogs get a feed and drink. Fresh pasta and wine, what else do u need for a relaxing sunday.

Love this place. Great find. Very dog friendly. Owner Bob fed our dogs and water bowls out. Great food and wine. Live Music on the weekend too. Great outdoor area. Rare to find a place that caters to dogs this much. Would come here again.

The staff were brilliant, attentive and friendly. I had the pumpkin soup with a coffee. The soup was very tasty, however the bread was bland and did not add to the meal- I would suggest a brown bread would contribute more to the flavour of the dish. I also noticed I had half the amount of bread as two ladies sitting beside me- why does this always happen to me??? Not such a huge problem considering the bread was tasteless. For what you get this place is great value with a nice ambiance.
Good pizza, wood fired and thin base. Coffee also good. Wait staff attentive. Food all fresh and reasonably priced. Tables not packed in like some small cafes.
Today my boyfriend,mother and I found myself at this beautiful cafe tre espresso or should I say little Italy and we were more than pleased by the time we left with not a thing to complain about. This is one cafe in Melbourne I would and will be recommending to everyone, this cafe has it all good price range,excellent food and beautiful service I actually wonder why I haven't heard of it before.

Tre Espresso is "Simply The Best" in Sparta Place!. Loved the fantastic food at Tre... All 4 of us did! We all ordered something different, which showed us anyway just how deep Tre's menu is.. Our table was surrounded by glorious space and a 360* gorgeous backdrop of this fantastic and obviously loved piazza space in the heart of Brunswick that is Sparta Place.
OMG the food! My meatball pizza was to die for! As for the others, I couldn't get even close to the Thai Beef Salad, the Big Beacon and Egg Breaky with all the extras (at 3pm too!) or one of the specials on the day, which was a wonderful warm bowl of Pumpkin Soup with Bread!
Once we'd all finished eating what was honestly one of the most memorable looking tables of food I've seen for ages the most beautiful girl working there replaced the now clean looking dishes with the next Devine sight & smell, our Coffees, and Cake (for me) lol... No more Brunswick Street visits for me for the great coffee, now it's just in Brunswick!
Now I don't normally write reviews but I do read them, so it's my turn to take the time to write a review for you guys! And to sum it up... If Tre's not out of the way for you, you must go! And If the Tre Espresso Bar & Cafe is slightly out of the way for you, you must go! Need I say more? Oh yeah I will... This last weekend was when we went to Tre and were also treated to the last few songs from a live band playing some French Gypsy Swing music! These guys were so cool... with live French music on Saturdays and Italian music Sundays from 12:30pm to 3:30pm my final thought here is that next time... we're going earlier! and I'll be sure to take and post a few photos for you guys then too! The food was delicious and fresh. I had the raspberry jam croissant which was the best croissant I've ever had. Service was also good. My only complaint is that the man told us we could split the bill and then when we went to pay the lady at the register refused to split the bill because they 'get too busy' on Saturday's (even though they weren't) but we spent more time trying to sort it out than it would have taken to actually split the bill. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced.

The food is fresh and pleasantly presented. Though $13 for a salad that consists of rocket, little bits of parmasen cheese and a small dash of dressing is too expensive.
The music was a lovely touch and the service very good. A just as good dining experience can be found at a better price in the local area.
Probably wouldn't return.
This little cafe has a large outdoor area and on occasions have live jazz playing which is perfect on a sunny day lunch. Great service and food. I am pretty sure the boss is Italian so their pizza is to die for.
I dashed into Tre Espresso today needing a quick pick me up snack for a toddler whilst wedding dress shopping on Sydney Rd. The wonderful owner gave me a muffin for free as I didn't have enough cash on me at that time. The owner said I could come back and pay him later but as I don't live in the area I told him I couldn't and he gave me the muffin anyway. Wonderful customer service. Thank you once again.
This Bar is situated at a very beautiful and convenient location, which is just a short walk from Sydney Road. The food and coffee are magnificent. I love coming here for lunch and enjoying a cup of cappuccino coffee in a good sense of privacy out of crowded streets nearby. Lovely!!!

The food and service was 5star with special mention to yr italian pizzas and signature blend coffee. The staff were not only friendly but have excellent customer service. We stumbled onto this pace while walking around and we were glad we did, the servers were super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great with some live music. The food was great we had a pizza and a risotto and both were delicious, we would go back again
