Decided to try out the pizzas at this place on Melville road. We opted for the 2 large pizza combo ($24) and took the Meat Lover pizza and 'Granada'.
The meat lover pizza was delicious. The hot salami wasn't really hot for us but we enjoyed it anyway. I was feeling ambitious with the Granada but didn't enjoy the prawn on the pizza thingy. I was maybe expecting the prawns to be baked a little more as it wasn't blending well with the other elements on the bread. Also tried the garlic bread in foil which was freshly baked :)
Pros: Polite owner, he shared that he was running the place since the last 35 years! He takes pride in his work. Inexpensive prices, value for money. Generous servings. Everything prepared freshly before you.
Con: Place only accepts cash, not card. You might have to wait a while for your pizza to be ready. The surroundings are not that great, but I assume people mostly order and take away.
A great local family owned pizza shop in the neighborhood of Brunswick West. Con the owner is always great to chat with, and a friendly character. I’ve been coming here for 10 years, and still can’t get enough of their Hawaiian pizzas. I highly recommend this pizza shop for its service, quality pizza’s, generous portions and great prices.
Traditional pizzeria that serves great quality food! Eating at Hot Pizza House is always a treat and continually exceeds my expectations. I've been coming here for the past few months as I've just moved to the area and definitely the most reasonably priced Pizza Shop I've tried in Brunswick. You can't go past the margarita or home made spaghetti bolognese, reminds me of the pizzerias back home in Italy. 10/10!!
