Unpretentious fare at reasonable prices.
Though I feel the coffee is the best in Melbourne it's really the home style Polish soul food that keeps me coming back in.
The menu reflects an unusual selection of Polish / Aussie fare, having sampled everything at least once I have to say there isn't a duff number amongst them.
But returning to the coffee I would say Thangs particular style of brew, preparation and delivery equates the finest tasting (and wholesomely addictive) coffee in Brunswick.
As it's a one person operation turnover time's can be longish, but never unreasonable.
But anyway, what's the rush?
Excellent food and service.
Ella the lady who runs this Cafe is beautiful . You have to try her veggie thang.
Every time I eat it
I feel loved and Nourished
It's a Vegetable toasted foccacia with melted cheese, Avocado and other yummy veges in it and you take one bite ...crunch , Yum , Delicious...
She makes Fresssssh Muffins
Everyday and you just got to try her lemon slices... Zingy , sweet, but not overly sweet, natural base
You won't find them like this anywhere else.
She makes a top coffee on Lygon St
Its a quaint place but a great warm feel to it
The owner is very smart and she's always happy to have a chat and an interesting conversation and she makes really good food
Great prices too.
Good coffee for a good price ($3.50). The cafe has a very cosy, homely feel. Definitely come here with your laptop, grab a coffee, and get onto those emails while being in the comfort of a lovely home.
