Tried out this new place and loved it! Fantastic food, the Tartufo pizza was so simple and tasted authentically Italian and my husband’s seafood lasagne was delicious. We were both very impressed. The staff are wonderful (read: Italian and beautiful!) and there’s a nice ambience to the place. They’ve done a brilliant job of turning a little burger joint into a quality Italian restaurant. Can’t wait to go back soon. Would recommend it for an easy date night or a girly catch up :)
The bacon & eggs pizza roll was amazing!! And the hollandaise sauce on the eggs benny was delicious. Servings were generous and staff great! Highly recommended.
Really lovely and authentic Italian food. The Bolognese ragu and prawn linguini is amazing. The pizzas are fantastic too. Highly recommended.
Quick lunch. The owners and staff were from Italy. Very friendly.
Ordered a capriccioso pizza which was really good.
Had a pistachio baked cheesecake. Was okay but I was also stuffed from the pizza.
Nice place with cool interiors.
Osteria del Mare reminds me that in so many ways the Gold Coast is fortunate. Not only are our climate and mountain-fringed seascape a joy in themselves, but the coast’s magnetism draws world travellers like flotsam to our shores for us to enjoy. One such couple is Andrea and Simona Riva, owners of the newly-opened Osteria Del Mare...We start with Fritto Misto di Pesce ($19), soft sweet seafood, lightly floured and flash fried, flowing out of a paper horn across the plate. It’s food for the gods. I stop in wonder at the taste, the seasoning vibrant and piquant on the tongue.“It’s the finest salt I can buy, imported from Trapani in Sicily,” Andrea informs us.
Fabulous little Italian restaurant. The waiters were just gorgeous as were the chefs. We had a great home made ravioli with salmon and asparagus. Would recommend you try it.
