We ordered amaretti, anicini, baked cheesecake slice and red velvet slice with a latte. The latte was very good. The amaretti were very sweet, the anicini were good, not as sweet. The red velvet had a nice taste to it and not overly creamy. The baked cheesecake had this jelly on top which i didn't like but my friend did. Overall I'd give them a go.
The number of times I've stood out the front to admire the cakes in the window and never realised that it was actually a dine-in pasticceria. Well, fixed that this week with a coffee and cake catch-up with a friend. Segafredo coffee is served in those cups with too small handles but that aside, enjoyed the cappuccino and a custard fruit tart. The vanilla cannoli had nice pastry although I found the custard filling a little firm for my liking.
I spent the afternoon in Burwood visiting newly opened Rusty Rabbit with my mum and before heading home, I wanted to get something to surprise my girlfriend. Pasticceria Mancuso is one of the longest standing eateries on the main strip of Burwood. In their time doing business, they have built a reputation for themselves as one of the best places to get Italian sweets and desserts.
Great coffee, fast friendly service. A must try if your shopping in Burwood.
I can’t travel to Italy so this will do for now, PASTICCERIA MANCUSO Burwood establishment in 1972, makes Italian cakes & cookies. It was very nice but abit too sweet for my taste. I did enjoy Hazelnut Shortbread the most.
They also make good coffee.

You made our vision into exactly what we wanted and more. It was very beautiful and tasted very delicious. May I say our parents were very surprised to see their original cake topper on top of cake which made it even more special and complemented the cake. Again Thankyou ..
Ordered a large 10 inch continental cake for like last week. It was lovely. The sweetness was just right. I hate cakes which are super sweet (Michel's I'm looking at you)
Just thought that the custard filling could use more vanilla flavouring along with the Italian Buttercream
Also the chocolate custard needs more cocoa taste
If you guys did that then the cake would be absolutely perfect!
My family and I have been enjoying the delicious sweets and cakes from Mancouso’s for three generations now! We just enjoyed a wonderful mud cake for my son and mother in laws birthday! Not a crumb was left, the mud cake was moist and not overly sweet and the gnash was just mouth watering. The wonderful Elizabeth designed and created this cake - she is a delight to work with. She is very attentive and is able to replicate any photo I have shown her! She’s the best in the business with a sweet and kind heart! Looking forward to many more cakes from Mancuso’s!
