I must say - being an occasional regular - this restaurant has shown me ever-improving food and customer service. I am very glad to be able to eat in a good quality hk style restaurant in Sydney
Keep it up and thank you !!!
The retro decors, with my favourite Cantonese pop songs playing, this place makes me homesick the moment I stepped in, not to mention the authentic and yummy Cha chaan teng style food!
While I agree with other reviews that it may get busy during peak hours, it's definitely worth the wait!
Love their curry fish balls & cheong fun! Staffs were friendly — Felt kinda bad as we didn’t realised that they closed at 3pm and were still happily eating at 3:30pm 😣
Incredible food!!! Such an underrated place in Burwood and definitely deserves more attention due to its great prices and delicious food! The black pepper sauce was amazing! Will definitely be coming back :)
Love how they’ve opened up a second side to the shop to accomodate for the amount of customers during its peak times. The food is always top quality, but be prepared to have the most popular pineapple bun be sold out if you go too late!!
The satay beef with scrambled egg was amazing (not pictured) and baked pork chop with white sauce on rice was just as tasty
Not bad if you’re looking for a quick HK fix, milk tea is very good. However if you’re after something more authentic it’s probably worth going to HK recipe in Eastwood.
Fresh and great food , staff is very helpful , good options in mocktails and shakes ,. We ordered for chicken shawarma platter which was good in portion and tasty , nicely presented and the lamb stew also was delicious , will come back to try more dishes
If you’re looking for authentic, delicious and convenient Hong Kong food and snacks, this is the place to go. The portions are huge, the food offered is local Hong Kong dishes and the drinks are also yum. Great place and location.
This restaurant is quite popular, so I'd recommend to go early. They offer Hong Kongese style western food. It took quite long to get my food, my friends almost finished theirs. I ordered a pasta in bread, it was good. There are many other things on their menu looks good, will give a try next time
Bits of Hong Kong Shopfront used to create a street scene reminiscent to the little alley ways that one could go to get cheap eats back in the 70s and 80s. the surroundings are certainly more of clean and current Hong Kong Streets. Whilst you work out the DYI menu using a white board marker to select your dish. Note make sure you don’t accidentally wipe off your selection before handing over to staff. A selection of Street food favourites like noodle rolls, stuffed eggplants and tofu to fried chicken wings can be chosen. As well as make your own noodles selecting a sauce , noodle, meats and vegetables.
The rice in a pot with chicken and Chinese wax sausage is bigger but less convincing then that avaialble at Yum Cha restaurants.
The stuffed fried vegetables were also just average and better and cheaper at Yum Cha.
The noodles here are pretty good though especially the braised beef. The HK pop should be turn down a tad too.
They have two parts and one of them just serve noodles so watch out lol. The food quality at the noodles cart is not as good as the other one, it is more like a fast food restaurant. The salted lemonade had a weird taste that I didn’t get along with. There was little sauce in my curry beef rice which was unsatisfactory. The whole experience at noodles cart was not good. However, the other side gets really amazing and various choices. I had the cheesy rice in a bread! It was delicious and huge! It was for almost four people to have and there were countless pork chops inside. The tomato flavor was also a delight match with pork chops and cheesy rice. I strongly recommend that.

Hong Kong Bing Sutt has got you covered for all the classics but be sure to get the luncheon meat and fried egg stuffed inside a pineapple bolo bao bun!
We came at around 2pm and lucky there was one table left. There was a long queue before.
First impression was the table filled with menu which is very interesting! And there a variety of dishes! We order the beef and raw egg clay pot rice, salted egg fried soft bone chicken, fish cake lettuce soup, signature milk tea and coffee mixed milk tea. There was a bit of a wait for the food. But all was very tasty! I also like the soy sauce came with the rice, and their garlic chilli oil. Both mixed with the rice gave a flavour bomb!
Will come back to try other dishes as well 👍
This restaurant was introduced to me by my Hongkongese friend. The menu and the flavor here are authentic without any doubt. However, the waiting time could be unbelievably long, so there is a one-star minus here.
Decent place with solid food. Expect a wait during peak times such as weekends. The service is pretty good, staff is not rude. Noodle is great but the beef is not seasoned and tender enough. The salted egg fries and chicken wings are great. The laksa is terrific. The average level of food quality is great though.
Please note between 3pm to 5pm it's afternoon tea time with limited menu options
Interesting food. I ordered "fish balls and lettuce soup" which sounds kinda strange but it was actually really tasty (it actually comes with 6 fish balls but I already ate 2). The spam and fried eggs on rice is exactly that, although it is called "evil pork luncheon" on the menu. It's a simple dish, but still tasty.
