Granny’s Noodle is one of the noodle restaurants I frequent in Burwood. My favourite is the Granny’s signature beef noodle soup. I like to customise it with less oil and with added fresh chili.

Serving a killer range of Chinese dishes and their signature Taiwanese beef noodles; Granny’s Noodle in Burwood is one of my favourite comfort restaurants.

What I mean by that is that it’s reliable, consistent and that the staff always greets me by name and starts playing Torn by Natalie Imbruglia as soon as I walk in so I feel like I’m at home.

Granny's Noodle was the first restaurant we stumbled across coming out from the train station that was opened early Saturday morning and offering a breakfast menu so we thought Taiwanese breakkie it is! We had the pickled vegetable and pork noodles and chives and pork dumplings. The noodles turned out surprisingly great, tasty to the palate. The dumplings were bland but after dunking them in the noodle soup and adding vinegar, soy sauce and chilli oil they were yum! Good for a quick meal
