Specialising in Sichuan cuisine, Taikoo Li also offers popular non-spicy rice pot set. The set comes with steamed rice cooked in claypot, a dish of your choice, pickled veggies & sweet soup. 🙂 There are various of choices to choose from, I opted Pork Ribs and Mushroom Rice Pot. The pork ribs were tender and mixed mushrooms soaked up all the flavourful sauce. Some people might find the sauce a bit greasy but it didn’t really bother me that much as I finished the whole pot of rice with the rich flavourful sauce. 😋
The Spicy Sliced Chicken Cool Noodle was a nice appetiser. The creamy peanut-y sesame sauce with a little kick really satisfies your cravings. The portion size is great to share between two people. 🙂
One of my favourite places to eat! Although have not been here in a while since the upgrades so I must come back! Definitely recommend!
I tried purple rice&yogurt shake as well as sugar ice jelly,that’s amazing.Not even say Sichuan style dishes worthwhile the price

Nice wide place. I like the ambience. The portion of food is ok. Taste of food was good. Had the waiter/waitress been a bit friendlier it would be great. Good place to go with friends and family. Couples can also go.
Pleasantly surprised with the food. Tasty and full of flavour. We had the eggplant stone pot rice, stirfry chicken stone pot rice (both spicy- not too much, just the right amount of heat + comes with white fungus sweet dessert soup) & the kids had the chicken mushroom noodle soup. Also orders a portion of pork & chive dumpling, goes super well with the black vinegar!

The ambience was also nice - aircon running perfectly to offset the heat from the food.
I enjoyed eating here and the dumplings are very nice. It was easy to order as you just tick whatever you want to eat in the sheet given to you on your table. Service is pretty prompt too.

Didn't know what to expect at Taikoo Li so I was pleasantly surprised. They have a whole section for rice pots where you choose your protein and how crispy you want the rice crust to be (I guess this determines how much oil goes on the bottom?). My friend had the duck and sweet sausage (lap cheong) while I decided on the black pepper beef. Both were tasty and I enjoyed my meal. I recommend making it a meal for $3 extra, as you get a small bowl of soup and 2 daily side dishes - we had a seaweed salad and braised offal. Probably worth mentioning that they use basmati rice so the texture is slightly different to the normal claypot rice dish. The restaurant is spacious, clean and bright. Along with friendly and prompt service, this is a good spot for meals in the area. Keen to try the spicy food next as that seems to get good reviews.

Very authentic sichuan food, very delicious, the attitude of the waiter is very good, a variety of food is very distinctive, like, hope to come over to eat.
Dumplings are a little bit small, however it’s not expensive. Good place for ppl like me that is missing home cos u can have some spicy food here.
Yummy Chinese food was lots of options. The spicy clams and shredded potato dishes were an absolute delight. Service was so so. It would have been better if all the dishes arrived around the same time. There was quite a bit of wait between dishes but it was very busy at lunch.
Nice dining atmosphere with friendly staff. Waiting staff had great customer service and very helpful. There was a good variety of Chinese food on the menu, food presentation was nice however, the food taste was okay. Good size servings.
A lot of very interesting dishes on offer. I felt adventurous and ordered bullfrog with chilli and ginger, with a couple of side dishes. The wait time for the food was not long at all. The bullfrog was surprisingly tasty (it reminds me of chicken). All three dishes were quite spicy. It was an enjoyable experience, I will head back to try some of the other dishes.
Great serving size and an overall very affordable meal. Loved the vinegar potato and would 100% come back here.
