Delicious food here but utensils are always so dirty here - I always have to rinse with hot tea provided on the table. Service is great here though and food is worth coming back for. Fried chicken is so tasty and saucy.
Very clean restaurant. Food was good. Only con was the language barrier with the waiter but that's okay. And the food portion was small but its cheap so i can't complain. Would come by again !
Highly recommend Battambang crispy chicken noodles, the chicken overlying the sweet soy sauce still retained its crispness. Noodles nicely flavoured but were a little on the oily side. It also came with a bowl of soup and bean sprouts (can choose cooked or raw). The waiters were nice, we requested noodles to be thin or thick egg noodles if wanted. Food came out quick. Cash only accepted.
On a quiet afternoon hungry for a meal we decided to try out this quiet Cambodian restaurant, Battambang. Upon entering, the decor seems old and lacking in decor, but simultaneously, reminds you of what a lot of Cambodian restaurants are like in Cambodia.
Today we were served by a chirpy server and ordered steamed chicken with rice. The serving size was plentiful for the price paid. The soup provided was exceptional and packed with flavoring. Normally, a lot of restaurants tend to water their soup down, or there may be no nibblies in the soup, but that wasnāt the case here.
Overall, a great dining experience, but donāt expect this place to be a quiet place to dine.
My go to for Cambodian food. Cannot go wrong with the pork noodle soup with innards... yum. My boyfriend had the stir fried rice noodles with beef and it was nice too. I always like to grab the deep fried intestines... so fatty but nonetheless good š
I do believe this small restaurant is Phnom Phen style food, serving authenticity Cambodian cuisine.
I asked for the recommendation, and the waitress tell me about the clear soup, but my eyes set I the fish and lemongrass soup.
She explained it to me that people usually either like it or hate this dish!

ā£Delicious Crispy Chicken, Sauce Infused Noodles AND a Flavourful Bone Soup, it shouts homely but a very delicious meal. Can recommend to go to the one near along John Street as there is 2 Battambung stores.
This is my go to place for Pnomh Penh Combination Rice Noodle Soup. I've been going here for years but finally taking the time to write a review. I would say it's the Cambodian equivalent of Vietnamese Pho however don't expect it to taste even remotely similar.
It has exotic ingredients such as dried pigs blood, liver, etc so I would only recommend it to people who are liberal with their food. The food here is tasty, well priced, and the restaurant is clean. The beansprouts that come with the dish are always fresh.

Very nice food. Their glass noodle soup dish was fantastic. Cambodian pad Thai was a bit oily though and lacked the tamarind flavour that makes the Thai dish a hit
Quick and easy authentic Cambodian restaurant. Food is delicious and efficiently delivered. Any of the soup options are tasty, especially on a cold winter night. Plenty of seating and pretty affordable for main dishes.
Our favourite go to when craving the smells and flavours of Cambodia. We always go with the Khmer soups. Cheap and cheerful environment.

Love Battambang! Been eating here with family since I was in primary school (now going into mid-twenties), old location as well. Grew up with their Cambodian Noodle soup and Aunty has been catering my picky request for both egg noodles and rice noodles mixed together for many years (I couldnāt decide when I was younger, and it stuck). Hands down my favourite noodle soup anywhere and now also my partners favourite!
