Holy sheez, what deliciousness did I just stumble into. How have I not sampled this greatness before? Don't let the unexpected location fool you, the food here is to die for. Menu hits the right balance between the classic creature comfort favourites but also some unexpected and innovative flavour combos that will surprise and delight. Staff are sweet and quick too. Go here! You won't regret it.
Stopped by Mama Coco yesterday hoping that they would serve me as I had my pet greyhound Pip with me after a visit to the vet ( we live out of town ) and I was starving . I had eaten there before and the guys make the absolute best BLTs on the planet . I was hoping that they wouldn't mind us sitting outside so that I could enjoy the delicious cuisine . Not only was the lunch delicious but the service was great . Pip was offered a bowl of water and got plenty of attention from the staff . I got to finally sit down and have my meal and coffee and relax at the table knowing that my well behaved little blonde greyhound was welcome . Definitely pet friendly .
Wow. Visited this restaurant with my wife for brunch while we were holidaying in Cairns and we were blown away. Portion size was generous and more importantly everything was so delicious. I had the smoked salmon dish and it was devine. Picked veges made everything taste so fresh and healthy. Even the iced long black coffee was brilliant.
If we are ever back in Cairns, we will definitely be coming back. It's just a shame that location wise, it's not in the city centre so it will be difficult to get to without a car.

Mama coco is one of not many breakfast places i would go back. Food are fresh, generous portions and tasty Coffee just alright for me. Service always lovely.

One of the best breakfast experiences in Cairns! Greeted and served by lovely staff, incredible food and coffee at a very good price. Atmosphere was great; nice and chilled. Perfect start to the weekend.
