Public holiday no where was open. Happen to walk past this hidden place and so happy to have found it! Duck noodle soup, chicken laska! Amazing! Highly recommend
First day landed in Cairns, found this authentic Thai restaurant - Thai foodie house, heart warming duck noodles soup made my day, never come across Thai restaurant like this one as a Melbournian, most delicious comfort food u can ever experience in Australia. Tried all other dishes throughout the days spent in Cairns, all are very delicious, you can taste the dishes are cooked with heart that hard to experience else where. None of the other Thai restaurants in the region comparable to Thai foodie house. Special thank you to the host and her auntie who made this very special delicious and tasty taro coconut cream jelly desert, thumbs up! Will come back again upon visiting Cairns. Xoxo lisa
This eatery is well deserving of its 4.7 star overall rating. The food is fresh and delicious, very well presented and of a good serving size. Today I tried that Chicken Pad Thai & the Curry Puffs and was not disappointed. The staff are extremely efficient and customer friendly. Sometimes it's just the little things being done that separate the good from the very good, such as the Butterfly Pea Flower in the water - it was a nice touch. Will definitely be back to try more of their wonderful dishes.

The staff are so lovely, the restaurant has so many gorgeous plants to make the environment lovely aaaaaand the food was incredible - so fresh and full of flavour 🥰🥰🥰
We weren't expecting much of this restaurant but its run by three Thai ladies and we loved the food. We thought it was very authentic Thai cuisine. We had the papaya salad, beef salad, pad Thai, the braised pork and we loved each dish. Our 8 yo did find one or two of the dishes a bit spicy, but worked around it.
Amazing and authentic Thai food at very reasonable prices. Cafe is also decorated nicely and staff very friendly.
The best Tom yum noodle soup and Thai milk tea in town. Great service too. Highly recommend!
Ordered the red duck curry, papaya salad, and enoki mushrooms yesterday. So happy we came here. The duck was cooked perfectly, the papaya salad had some delicious kick, and the mushrooms were not only unique and delicious but also a really generous serving size. Lovely people, cute place. We'll be back :)
