We ordered via Door Dash and while the burgers were tasty, our sides of chips were missing. I called the store and they kindly and promptly delivered the chips, which would have more than made up for the earlier error, except... the chips were different than usual and severely undercooked, so we were disappointed twice, and in the end would have preferred a refund and no chips, or a delay and cooked chips. It seems like there has been a recent change of management. If so I hope the new people find their feet soon as this used to be the best burger place in Cairns with great attention to detail. They are certainly trying, and get extra points for rectifying their mistake, it's just a shame the chips weren't at all nice.
This is the place to get an old fashioned good Aussie burger. Generous portions, good dine in facilities and a fairly sizeable menu with lots of options. I reckon the Burger Barn will bring back memories of getting take away when you were a kid, and before burgers in Australia were influenced by the US burger trends. A good spot for a quick, no frills, no fuss dinner.
Great little burger joint, meals weren’t overly expensive and full of flavours. Onion rings are fantastic, over all great service, friendly staff and a good meal. Will be coming back
This place is a delight,we went yesterday for the first time. The food was so fresh & patties home made, both the chicken & beef were amazing so too the fresh fries.I would definitely recommend this.
Fantastic service and delightful food! I would have to say, my favourite burger place in Cairns. The restaurant has a lovely cosy and welcoming feel to it, great for a meal with your significant other or the whole family. Highly recommend 😍😊
