Attended for the 2021 Christmas lunch and was not disappointed. Amazing spread including Moreton bugs, prawns and fresh cut ham. Casino could do with some updating but the setting in the meeting rooms was extremely well done and would 100% do it again
We have visited this casino a few times now and enjoyed a few hours and nice cold beers each time, very relaxed not over crowded, had a very nice steak at the restaurant cooked just right, good price too around $23-25.
If you are ever looking to elope The Reef Hotel Casino is the place to do it.

The rooms were magnificent, clean and all the staff were lovely. The room service was yum!!!! The photo opportunities around and in the casino for your wedding photos are outstanding.
We had our perfect wedding on our balcony, now all we need is jag a grand Jackpot over the next couple of days to make the greatest story ever 😉🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼😍😍

Wonderful place to stay. Very happy with upgrade this time to top floor suite, front and centre, with magnificent views over Cairns waterfront. Staff were brilliant, and very helpful when partner was suddenly ill (nothing to do with the Casino) and needed a microwave in the room to heat some bland food. I always look forward to my stays, especially the fabulous spa bath in the room. It's particularly nice to watch TV from there when Im travelling alone!
So hard to sum it all up , my 1 night stay recently. The staff # 110% the hospitality shown to my needs I could not express my gratitude enough. My room # king room/ spa/ open bathroom/shower room / overlooking sea views where my son had his formal senior graduation on Wharf 2 . BAR36 : Games room queen of the night.
5 stars all round. Everyone we ran into was amazing to deal with. Room was spacious and comfortable. Mattress was nice and firm amazing. We stayed 4 nights with brekkie. Breakfast was great value. Bar downstairs had live music from Friday to Sunday which was amazing. Overall no complaints
Pros: the room was clean with good light and a view of the river. the bed was perfect as well as the spa.
the location is perfect and it is literally 5 min walk from the lagoon and also from the river bank restaurants.
Also if you are the one who loves casinos, this is the one for you. The hotel has its own pub which is very good and multiple choices of on-tap beers and foods. foods are just ok like any other pub.
Cons: We had breakfast included however it was not on the buffet. We had to stay in a queue for a long time to order our breakfast from the menu and we had to pay for some extra items. The quality was average and if you're from Melbourne you would not like their coffee. :))))))
Stayed for three nights in a Superior Room and enjoyed every minute. Room was luxurious and immaculate; room service was fast and delicious; pool was refreshing with space to relax and cocktails and snacks on-demand; staff were friendly and efficient; and location was central so we walked everywhere. (Casinos are not our thing, so good that hotel is its own distinct space.) Would definitely stay again.
