Lovely café with a large interior and modern design. Indoor plants and timber accents provide a natural feel.
• Les Omlette – The omelette had a light texture and wasn’t overly dry, still retaining a bit of jiggle in the middle. There was a mixture of sharpness, funkiness and creaminess from the gruyere, parmesan and gouda, with a bonus pong of goats cheese crumbled on top. Very nice, but a little rich towards the end of the dish.
• Sweet Potato Hash – quite a nicely plated dish, but I was hoping there were would be more sweet potato in the hash. It was probably 85% potato with specks of orange sweet potato through it. The pulled lamb shoulder was indeed very tender, as it was slowly stewed and had a rich, distinctly lamby flavour. Perfectly poached egg and fried cubes of halloumi gave the dish more elements of richness, and towards the end, also felt quite heavy.
• Very nice coffee as well, my strong latte was on the chocolatey side, with tightly steamed milk.
I absolutely love this restaurant. The staff and owner is wonderful and I’ve eaten there a few times and they hosted my birthday function. Love the food and cocktails!! Also they do amazing coffees / chai lattes. I am often getting my coffees from here.
Juno and May. All around solid.
In particular the tagliatelle was very good. Had a balanced creaminess to the gamey taste of the rabbit. Also well plated (as were all the other dishes though).
The duck slightly sweet, not over though.
The coffee wasn't stand out, but was fine on it's own. Smooth.
A bit pricey, but highly satisfying. Not bad.
Juno & May is a nicely fitted out restaurant in Camberwell. We started off with the pork sliders which were pretty epic and full of flavour. The pasta was yummy, however a fraction oily for our liking. Service was good, with staff continually checking on how the evening was going. We would go back again.
Stopped in here on way back from a busy morning house hunting, not planned it was just where we got a park and we were not disappointed! It was fabulous, creative menu with cuisines from all over the world, coffee was great, staff were great, ambiance cozy n lovely! A pleasant surprise, will be back! Had the tapioca calamari with green papaya salad n hubby had morrocan chicken sandwich, both delicious.

For an all round experience of great food and good service, Juno and mayo is a must try!
We tried :
Pork belly with fried rice and chilli jam sauce, as a Bork belly lover I must say this pork belly was up there with the fine dinning restaurant as to how well it was cooked! Tender meat and crispy crackling! The fried rice ball and kang -kung leaves added texture while the chilli jam sauce rounded up everything together.
The chicken salad was a large portion size and was well balanced. Flavours were YUM!
The steak was the slightly underwhelming dish of the night even though it was cooked well the rest of the dish was a bit bland and boring!
The absolute highlight of the night was Henry’s soft centred chocolate cake which had just the right amount of sauce to cake ratio.
The staff were very friendly and efficient so all in all this place is a must try!
I have eaten here a number of times. the food is on the creative side and flavours are usually spot on. good size portions (slightly large for me) and good value. service has always been a little bit scatty here, but I'm always willing to overlook that for a good chef.
We came here for our late lunch on the weekend.
First impressions- this cafe/bar/restaurant quite spacious inside, looked modern, cozy and clean.
We had lattes, cappuccino, and hot chocolate for drinks, and unfortunately, even though the latte was smooth, it was very weak. Same thing as the cappuccino, but the hot chocolate was alright.
We ordered the 'Biggie' , Chipotle Chicken Burger, Tagliatelle, and Roast Duck Thai Curry for our meal. The Thai curry duck was lovely. The snow peas, sweet potato and crispy egg on the sides worked well and tasted so good on my plate. The pasta with rabbit meat was great and well seasoned.
However, the chicken breast on the chicken burger was very bland, and the biggie was average. Nothing extraordinary was to be found in these two.
Will come back to try their dinner menu someday.
Service was very friendly and the staff was attentive.
JM is quite an experience. The service staff are quite professional, almost curt, but the food is amazing and well worth your hard earned :)
Good food - calamari was tender balanced nicely with crunchy pickled green papaya; marinated Moroccan chicken was tender and juicy. Polite staff, good service. Prompt service. Could linger on after our lunch.
Nice atmosphere and food. Gluten free options are not great BUT the staff were very knowledgeable and careful about gluten which was great
Had the lamb shoulder which was a nice, surprisingly homey dish that brought out the natural flavours of the lamb and vegetables really well. Dessert was also good - we had the peanut butter parfait which was delicious and the mango panna cotta which was great but could have used a couple more raspberries and strawberries, as the tartness of those berries combined with the other flavours really made the dish!
Great food, especially loved the pancakes, which I would highly recommend. Not your standard pancakes, they were fluffy inside and slightly crunchy on the outside, delicious. Took my mum here for Mother’s Day. Staff were super friendly but it did take about half an hour for food to come out, and they forgot the food for our neighbouring table (very patient and polite couple). Would visit again.
The food was excellent and the service was top quality. Have already recommended it to some friends and I will definitely be back.
Great food and friendly services. Nicely decorated too !
good food, nice atmosphere, clean settings, good service. Nice place to go.
