This is my favorite place but tonight on Valentine's day, you can tell the boys/owners away. The service is sooooooo bad I'm offended we have to pay the same money
First off, I'm a regular. Lovely warm Italian joint run by the nicest of people. Split into two sections, restaurant and the pizzeria. I always go to the pizzeria for the byo wine ($5 a bottle) Don't judge pls.
Pizzas are good but my go to is the spaghetti marinara. Prawns, calamari, mussels cooked to perfection in a rich dark tomato sauce. I need the recipe to this thing. For the small eaters almost everything has an entree size for a cheaper price.
Locals please try you won't regret it.
Also try the tiramisu. A bit on the creamy side but great flavour.
Had a 50th birthday celebration there a year ago (bit late for review I know). It was amazing. They couldn't have been more helpful. The amount of food from the banquet menu was incredible and we took home enough food for a few more days! Couldn't have been happier - if we went out a lot I'd go there more often!!

Went here for a family dinner. It is a Camden institution and I've been going here since I was a teenager. They have a pizzeria, take away and also a fancier restaurant. As you enter, it is clear from all their certificates that they've won a lot of awards for their food and service. We had a booking, which is important as it was quite busy. They brought us out water and offered some breads which we ordered the garlic bread. We had drink menus and most of us ordered soft drink or a beer. I got a green apple martini which was really nice. They also have a wide range of wines.
Tonight we skipped the entrees and just ordered mains. The menu has starters,
pastas, veal, beef and seafood. Three of the party ordered meats with different sauces (Gorgonzola, Diane and mushroom). A huge serving of meat and a generous lashing of sauce, accompanied by a bowl of vegetables. My brother got the lasagne which was absolutely delicious. I had the prawns, which was quite a lot of grilled prawns in a olive oil, wine and butter sauce with salad, again a generous serving. Husband ordered the fettuccine with seafood; had mussels, Prawns and scallops in a fresh diced tomatoes and cognac sauce. Mum had the lobster; beautifully cooked with mushrooms, cream and Cognac. Great meals, beautifully cooked. Unfortunately on this instance we were too full for dessert; but there was some
good options; gelato, tiramisu to name a few. We eat out a lot and in our perspective the prices here are quite high. Overall, service provided here was very good.
I have been dining at Enzo's for over 25years and say that the food, service, value would be the most consistent that I have ever experienced. A truly authentic Italian experience. The restaurant has two sections - casual pizzeria & a formal dining area. The restaurant has received many local and hospitality awards. Book early for popular times. Enjoy it! I give them a 5 consistently!
I took my three teenage girls with myself and my wife unsure if the food would be to adult for their palate but was pleasantly surprised they took to it as well as they did . The restaurant is what you would expect from an al a carte restaurant staff was very well dressed,professional and attentive being our first visit here I wanted time to peruse the menu the staff were patient and not annoying and were happy to wait until we were finished and ready to order. The food was very good higher than my expectations even though we had heard good reviews "after all it's in Camden" !!! it's more sophisticated than your usual Italian fare but far from the point of pretentious a happy medium you could say very satisfying and was very good to see the seafood on the menu not being frozen but fresh, an uncommon trait for the area looking forward to dining here again maybe even booking in to the pizzeria as it is separate from the a la carte dining area with pizzas being unavailable in there.
Just superb!!. Out there on a saturday night, we (4 people) arrive around 8pm with not booking but they manage to accommodate us (just e little wait), super busy place, but they still can manage to be courteous and very welly organize under the direction of french co-owner thierry.
order 3 pasta for the table , absolute delicious ,for main, seafood casserole, a seafood love delight (enormous) proved to be a challenge to finish, the steack pescara & alla enzo very tender and flavorsome but my veal capricorno something i will keeping returning for.
never had any room for dessert (next time)

Thumbs up for the fettucine diana, a tomato based pasta with mushroom, garlic, bacon and a hint of cream. Garlic pizza is also highly recommended but be warned, they're not light on the garlic

Nothing like a geniune Italian. It's always a challenge to find a good place to go out in Western Suburbs with visitors from out of the area. We went to Enzo's which is almost an institution in Camden and could hold our head up high. When booking be aware that there are 2 areas: pizzeria and formal dining. BYO is only in pizzeria with the other area fully licensed. The entrees were slightly disappointing with both our scallops and calamari slightly overcooked. But the mains were superb: whole snapper in creamy mushroom sauce, veal bocconcini, fillet kilpatrick and the little one had half a serve of barramundi with salad (thanks to the chef for arranging a child's meal). Enormous range of italian sweets and gelatos was too tempting. Between us we finished our meals with creme brulee served with fresh raspberry sorbet, baci gelato and of course tiramisu, all made to perfection. The service was fantastic with the French owner providing most of the entertainment for the night. On the expensive side, but really is worth it.
A good bubbly vibe, fairly younger faces around the restaurant and it's can get kind of cramped in there as there are (in my opinion) too many tables for the size of the place. Meals are slightly pricey but overall I enjoyed it.
Great homely restaurant serving up a wide selection of traditional Italian that ranges from your typical pizza and pasta meals to beef tenderloins, chicken breast, lamb dishes, seafood, entree's and salads.
MEALS: Decent serving sizes, high quality dishes. Would have loved the barrata con prosciutto to have been served with rocket (versus salad) leaves, for that bitter bite between the saltiness of the meat and creaminess of the cheese.
LOCATION: In the middle of town, with ample free street parking.
ACCESSIBILITY: Suitable for those with wheelchairs, walkers etc. Would also suit dog owners, as they have outdoor seating areas too.
STAFF: Down to earth, attentive staff who know the menu well and are happy to assist.
OVERALL: Would definitely come back. Perfect for large groups and family gatherings. With tiled floors and large spaces for prams it's great.
Heads up for the other: Farina Pizzeria appear to have hijacked much of your site, check out your menu.
This is the original Enzo's! Don't confuse it with the franchise. The food is authentic and delicious. Lovely atmosphere day or night. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We loved our dishes and will be back. We had our puppy with us so sat outside under the gorgeous verandah covered in wisteria. Thanks again for another enjoyable meal
Mother's day lunch today at Enzo Italian restaurant at John St Camden was fantastic. Party of 10 all our entree was superb...mains were a mixed of good & not so good...mains 1 burra fish & 1 pasta both excellent..8 steak with seafood..seafood and the sauce cook to perfection but the steak was chewy..serving was generous..their red sauce is to die for..6 of us had desserts creme brulee & creme caramel but none of us enjoyed it but my husband enjoyed his chocolate mousse..coffee are too watery & needed more punch..staffs are friendly...we probably comeback to try their pizza & some.of their other dishes..overall it was a nice lunch.
Cozy ambiance, great service and friendly staff… pizza and pasta had authentic taste… definitely deserves repeat visits
Our first time at ENZO is best described as warm and welcoming. Staff are friendly and were happy to talk, share stories of the area and the rrestaurant and werent afraid to joke around (particularly the waitress Sabina). The food was amazing (particularly dessert) and affordable for fine dining. (I have had pub food that was similarly price which was subpar at best).
The atmosphere was quaint and a nice touch to the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Overall, it was a fun experience and I'd be happy to try it again.
By far the best night out we have had in a long time. The food was incredible, the staff were friendly attentive and accommodating of our late reservation. Why travel elsewhere when you have food like this local in your own suburb.
Thanks for a great night we will be back.
