I have never had a bad experience. Have tried a huge range of their (extensive) menu, and have never had a bad dish. The service is fast, efficient and professional. There's a reason they had to get bigger premises.
We love eating here when we visit Canberra. The duck is especially good, and the pepper fish clay pot is a new fave. Seafood steamboat was delicious too!!

Best neighborhood restaurant I've found in Canberra, and it's the genuine article in terms of Vietnamese cooking. Everything is fresh, tasty and reasonably-priced, down to the jellyfish salad! It pretty much defines good "cheap and cheerful".
Never had the pho, but their other Vietnamese dishes are great (love the curry prawns). The fresh lemon soda delicious.
Stay from the Chinese-style dishes - I'm sure they're only there to cater to more conservative Canberra tastes (locals can be very unadventurous with their food - the most notable Sri Lankan place had to have chicken schnitty on their menu!)
This was my first experience eating out in Canberra when I first moved here a decade ago, and Sue's efficient and warm welcome made me feel at home in a lonely town. She always has a special greeting if I see her bustling through the restaurant - us regulars are obviously valued.
The place is always full, and the service is efficient, but they never make you feel like they're throwing you out the door, unlike one or two other similarly busy establishments in Dickson.
I always love pho and have high expectations for it. This is one of the best Pho I had and the broth is good. Would come back to eat it again.
Pretty amazing Pho - absolutely loved it! Very generous servings and just very fresh. The Vermicelli salad also looks amazing. My friend polished it off without complaining. Highly recommended!
Pork chops with rice is awesome!!However salad is just so so as it is a little bit sweet.I went there for dinner and the restaurant was so popular crowded with locals.Nice atmosphere and great Vietnamese food.$22 pp
Perfect place for a get together with friends, even though the place was really busy when we went there for a dinner, but the staff made sure that we received great service. The food offered is great for it's price. If you are planning a dinner over there, I would definitely recommend booking a table beforehand, rather than walking in at the last moment.
Best Pho in Canberra! Drove all the way from south side to try this place out and it was far from a disappointment. The staff were super friendly and my meal was outstanding. Ordered the pho and it came with a generous serving of fresh beansprouts, basil and chilli. The pho was delicious, big serving and had authentic flavours. Will definitely be back soon!
I go here often, great atmosphere and service. Love the Vietnamese pancake (only available lunchtimes) and spring roll noodle salad, good prices and good food!

This place was a fantastic find! The pho was fantastic, we also had the mixed entrees and the fish cakes were divine, sesame toast also a hit. Our drinks were also delicious, strawberry and PPQ fruit shakes, and really good roast duck. Bit of a wait to order but they were flat out when we went. Highly recommend
