The most wonderful little shop, perfect service, people, food & coffee
Plus on this glorious day! A tea pot cosie was won! A little amazing Xmas miracle
I've started having my business meetings here at my local cafe given the great outdoor seating, ready parking/bus at the door for my colleagues, and the good vibe to the place.
At my latest meeting my interstate colleague happened to get there early and sent me a message saying "I'm at the Little Oink now (great choice!), no need to rush, the coffee and food is great here!"
Thought you might like this feedback! Great to have you at our local shops since you have given the whole suburb a new vibrancy!
Great coffee, friendly staff and good food. The delivery of take away coffee and seated dining is within a decent time frame and not too pricey. It’s nice because there really isn’t too much else around this area. Happy chap
What a little gem! Great service, very cool menu, superb eats. Went with the “Get in my Pork Belly” and I have to say it was pretty much the best pork I’ve ever eaten- and I’ve cooked, eaten and served some A1 pork myself- but this little piggy wins all the way home. Looks can be deceiving too, the beautiful plating actually hides the true portion size and I was more than satisfied with the amount on the plate. After four years in Melbourne and recently returned to Canberra, this is my new local & i am very happy about that!
This place was so cute! Interior consists of cutie coloured dishes, chairs and plants that just makes you happy immediately🤩 Personally, I love these cosy brunch places where prices are affordable, tables a bit worn out and no marble walls but has a cute paintings instead. I feel like I could make this place my go to☺️
Food was amazing and the staff very pleasant would go back again for sure .And they were very busy at the time cold Sunday morning and they got us a table inside as soon as they had one.Great work guys
Had the most amazing time here !
Amazing food must try their coffee !
And great service 🤩🤩🤩 the staff was so welcoming and sweet ! will come back for sure !
Great food, amazing coffee and the staff were lovely. Great way to start the day. I Will definitely come back again when I'm in Canberra. @littleoink #littleoink.
It’s open everyone day Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm and Saturday – Sunday 8am – 4pm and takes bookings (a good idea as it’s small and cozy) and has easy parking. I loved the friendly and flexible service…. ..the cute, relaxed, funky and casual decor.
Little Oink is part of the suburban shopping centre refurbishment that seems to be going on. Empty, desolate shopping centres are turned into little hipster havens. Kinda ironic given the suburban setting is not the natural habitat of the hipster. Little Oink follows this trend. It is adorably kitsch. Lots of little teapots and what nots with bold and bright colours. The furniture seems like the owner made them from pallets in their spare time. In reality they probably paid quite a lot for the semi-functioning tables. The place was buzzing when we visited and is obviously very popular with the locals
I absolutely love this place! Grooviest little cafe around!! If you enjoy a chilled environment with awesome tunes in the background while drinking your coffee, this is the place to be.
Little Oink is a quality cafe at the Cook shops. They serve consistently great coffee, the menu is unique and the food delicious. The staff are friendly, there is a small kids play area and several high chairs.
We had brunch here this morning and loved this cafe.
The cafe caters for many people and has lots of outdoor space, which is great during COVID. Their protocols are excellent.
The young staff we met were all
really nice and friendly and the food and coffee were served fairly fast. This cafe has a nice village atmosphere with lots of friendly people. It’s also very dog friendly too.
The food and coffee are good and the prices are some of the best in Canberra
Highly recommended 👍
Strong good coffee, medium to well roasted.
Unremarkable suburban coffee shop with some nice pastries.
Banoffee pie very good, but bit soggy so I'll drop rating to just "good."
There is so much to explore around the Mt Painter area- a lot of bush walks and bike trails. This is a good place to stop afterwards & refuel.
Breakfast here was great and we loved the menu. We were served quite quickly and the food was delicious. Various breakfast options, although the portions were a little smaller than expected, but it was definitely more quality over quantity.
I had such a great experience at little oink. The food we ordered was so yummy the GET IN MY PORK BELLY - the WILD BOAR and the DREAM OF CALICORNICATION. Well presented and great tasting. All round, highly recommend little oink.
We love this little cafe.
Great little kids play area to keep the littlies entertained whilst you have a coffee or enjoy a delish meal!
Great vegan options also!
Had their chicken burger. It was really nice with wholesome ingredients and very filling. Definitely would come here again.
I've been meaning to try out Little Oink for a while and went today for some brunch - wasn't disappointed. The service was good, the food was served in a timely manner and it tasted awesome to boot (we had the fried chicken burger).
Pricing is on par with most of the little cafes around town, though the portion size is a bit smaller than what I would normally expect for the price.
Otherwise highly recommend!
