Had dinner with friends last week.
We ordered;
1. Gnocchi with Fried Buttered Anchovies: The pasta is really good, however I felt the sauce is too salty. But overall worth to try!
2. Black Ink Spaghetti with Carbonara: The creamy taste is the best!
3. Mushroom Bruschetta: Everything is 5 stars. I didn't expect the entrée would be that big haha.
the fourth and fifth of the menu we ordered I forgot the name. Generally the taste of the foods is fantastic even though at that time the restaurant was crowded. The service was also amazing, the staff are friendly. However, by mistake the carbonara was given to us was not what we were ordered thus we should wait another minutes for the food. I wish for the best of the service!

Just had a lunch at Prègo in Kingston foreshore.
I had fresh chilly fettuccine with "Pollo" cream sauce and my wife had spaghetti with "Marinara" sauce.
Both pastas were rich and yet well balanced in flavours, with plenty of chicken breast fillets bites in mine and plenty of fish in the marinara.
The knowledgeable staff suggested a wonderful wine pairing for both pastas and it was a dry Italian sparkling rosè named "Foss Marai Roos", made with sangiovese grapes and presented in a beautifully textured clear bottle.
It worked perfectly with our meal, complementing both pastas.
I forgot to take a photo earlier with the dishes as well, as everything was way too good and we got right into it.
Also, the bottlenof wine didn't last long either! 😉
This place transformed what was supposed to be a quick Sunday lunch into a remarkable food&wine experience.
Will definitely be back for more. 😀
I'm not a big fan of pasta as it's seems too basic for the restaurant and was super curious to try Prego! I was really impressed, in fact, all 6 of us were very happy with our amazing pasta dishes ! We even got an extra 2 servings take away!
At the restaurant we had 4 adults dishes and 2 kids. All adults dishes we had with the super nice handmade pasta 💚. Kids meals were quite big and as nice as adults!
The service was great, fast, friendly and nice atmosphere of the restaurant!

My wife and I had dinner there on Tuesday night. Beautiful starters and the marinara with squid in spaghetti was sensational. The imported Italian wine were a perfect match.
We were then treated to 3 a cappella songs by a table of a Serbian choir group.
One of the most memorable date nights ever.

Brand new for the Foreshore and absolutely sensational. We had dinner there with family. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
The halloumi, salt and pepper squid and the mushroom entrees were absolutely amazing.
All the pastas we ordered were fresh, tasty and authentic.
Great value for money too. It’s that good we’ve booked again for next week.
While it was windy, cold and raining outside, Prego was warm and welcoming with the best pasta we have had in ages. With a great range of fresh pastas and sauces, entrees and desserts, we will certainly be returning soon. Especially with that great wine ;)
My wife and I ate here on a training Saturday night. The restaurant was buzzing and we were quickly seated, menus handed over and asked what we would like to drink. 10 minutes after ordering our entrees arrived. I had the stuffed mushrooms with chorizo and my wife had the calamari. The calamari was to die for, so tender and sweet. Our mains took a little longer to arrive but it was a training session, so we sat there and talked to each other. Our mains arrived, I had the linguine marinara and my wife had the GF penne pasta Amatricana, both arrived hot and cooked to our liking. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had a great night out and will be back to try something else off the menu . Thank you Prego Pasta Bar.
