Have had taken away food from here a few times and always been very happy.
The menu is extensive with entrees, sushi, udon, mains, and more. They also have a lunch special. Service is friendly and food service has been efficient.
The food is great. Good flavours and combination of flavours.
I’m a big fan of their Japanese pancake - yum. But I’d happily order almost anything from their menu.
Fresh, fresh, fresh here. Ordered a couple of rolls for lunch , salmon and the other prawn, both with avocado. The fillings were generous and the rolls were well made. Everything stayed together with each bite which is a good sign of the sushi quality.
Noticed they had $10 lunches such as terry ale chicken and beef don. No ramen or udon here. Enjoy good sushi. Rating based on value.
Good food. Local Japanese place, serves more than just sushi and the owners are very friendly!
Though it can't be compared to the Japanese in the city, its still pretty good for a local place
Very Fresh Sushi. Aomori sushi are the selected sushi provider for our school and have been amazing over the last 18months with their service, their fresh sushi dishes, and their customer service - I thoroughly recommend Aomori Sushi!!
If you are in the area and want sushi come here!. Gf and I were taking a road trip down south and didn't know where good sushi was. So we looked on urban spoon and found this place. Had a 95% rating and after this experience for good reason!
Very low key type of place. Small capacity but very homely. Waiters were extremely nice and the staff were all friendly.
On a cold windy rainy day the green tea was exceptionally comforting. We got the chicken karage bento box set. Chicken was amazing with some extra flavour. Light but still crunchy. The fried rice was so fluffy and light. Sashimi there were two types of salmon. Loved the variety and a large dollop of mayo (which I love).
We also got 8 pieces of grilled salmon sushi with sauces on top that escaped my mind. Inside was also cheese. This was amazing!
Anytime I am down at Kingsway I'll be coming here again for sure!
Just great and even better than CBD. Caringbah is not my area and it was an unplanned visit but It looked like I discovered an unexpected pleasure. Sushi was very fresh and roll was unique in visual as well as taste. Finishing with Udon was a great combination made in heaven. Friendly chef was a great option which made our dinner even greater.
Always friendly and attentive staff. Amazing fresh sashimi and creative combinations that will satisfy every palate. First place I recommend to anyone looking for a fresh take on Japanese cuisine.
You wont be disappointed. Best sushi in caringbah. their miso soup is delish. staff are great.
Edit: Try their purple rice sushi rolls, fantastic! always generous serve of fish.
This place is amazing. The food is always fresh and the variety of sushi, noodles and udon is great. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Pricing is economical too! Gotta try this place if you're in the area.
MY NEW FAVOURITE PLACE. Best sushi around!! has brown rice witch is great... everything is fresh and comes out very fast.. staff are always polite... i go at least 3 times a week! love!!
Jan 22, currently only doing takeaway, we ordered dinner and it was ready within 15 mins for pick up. I got the sushi and sashimi set A, a chicken katsu curry, and a kids teriyaki sushi. The sushi and sashimi set was good. Good ratio of fish to rice and the sashimi was cut nice and thick. The curry was tasty but not as rich as I usually have at other places. The katsu was nice and crunchy though. Overall we enjoyed the meal.

This is a great sushi place, the sushi is always so fresh and the portion sizes are great. The serving size is worth the tiny extra charge - I’d also recommend the purple rice.
The girls are always lovely and smiley.

Japanese is always good. Beautifully presented dishes all coming around on the train. If you haven't been to Japan hopefully you get enough of the experience to buy a ticket and get there.
