If you love juicy and rich dumplings, then Ramen and Dumpling House is the place for you. With everything homemade on site, you can be guaranteed an absolute treat with these delicious parcels.
We came for lunch on a week day, and it was quite busy; so it's evidently popular with the locals. The menu consists of dumplings of all kinds, ramen, rice dishes and a good selection of stir fries.
We chose a dozen pork and prawn dumplings, and they arrived quickly. The dough itself is soft and thin, and the filling was full of flavour. The table is set with several dipping sauces such as soy, vinegar and chilli oil. These are all great for adding some extra heat and spice. We also chose some special dumplings that have a meat fillibg surrounded by stock. As you bite into these delightful morsels, you get a pop of beautifully seasoned stock in your mouth. Just sensational, and I would love to have these again.
The special fried rice was well cooked, with plenty of vegetables, meat and prawns and it tasted really good. We also had Mongolian beef, which also had plenty of beef and vegetables. The vegetables were still crispy, and the beef was soft and tender. The sauce was sweet and salty and totally delicious.
The restaurant itself is cosy and comfortable, with lovely, hospitable staff that are friendly and helpful. The meal was of a very high standard, and I would certainly return to try more of their delicious menu.
I had the signature pork dumplings and they were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The standard for good dumplings. Not much else to say about it. Would return
