Great service and excellent food. If you love spicy schezuan food then this place is worth the try.
Great food. Staff (the guy) is friendly.

First things first, I loved the well maintained and clean decor. Owned and maintained by the couple, the M8 Noodles in Carnegie is a good Chinese restaurant to dine. The well-curated menu offers dishes that can be shared among two people. I love chicken when it comes to meat and I wanted to try something chicken. It was lunch time and they were having a Lunch special menu ( 12.9 Food + 2.9 Drink ). I have decided to have only food since I have plans to get some bubble tea on the way back.
The staff/owner is very friendly and they speak both Chinese and English very well. I was with my Chinese friend and they spoke in Chinese with him and with a very pleasant smile they made me comfortable by speaking English with me. As you get seated they will serve you some snacks/crisps in a stylish tray which is in the shape of a swan.
I had rice and Xinjiang Style Spicy Chicken, I have asked them to bring down the spiciness level. My friend ordered spicy beef noodles. The chicken was cooked to perfection and had perfect seasoning. However, I find the dish served was cold. I really doubt how fresh it was compared to my friend's dish. There were bones in the chicken and this should have been mentioned in the menu. I always prefer boneless. The house beef noodles tasted fresh and well cooked. The deep fried chicken steak, fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce are the items I would definitely want to try next time.
I really loved the execution of the business, well-maintained decor, and categorized menu. However, I find a few dishes to be a bit expensive and if they could lower the price by $1.5 - $2 it will make a huge difference.
All delicious. We have ordered noodles, stir fried rice, beef, prawns, hot fish, vegetables. So many choices, not just noodles! We finished all. Satisfied! Very good! Definitely recommend.
Really rate this place, there are a few restaurants offering similar dishes on Koornang Road but M8 has the best decor/atmosphere, value and service! It's so hard to find such attentive and genuine service at dumpling/noodle restaurants, nothing is too hard for them. Good drinks selection too with smoothies and bubble tea, we will definitely be back!

There’s definitely no shortage of restaurants when it comes to Carnegie, and this place is just one of the recent few that have joined the hood.
Owned and managed by a young couple, there’s a good variety of mains on the menu ranging from meat to seafood, but with a name like Noodle M8, it’s hard to bypass their noodle options.
Listed at the top under the ‘noodles’ section was the House Beef Noodles which came recommended, so it only made sense to give it a whirl. Delicately presented, the chewy handmade noodles had good resistance to the bite and the broth was fresh and light on the palate with hints of sweetness coming from the radishes, while the accompanying Kombu Seaweed Salad rounded it off nicely.
Oddly and elusively placed under ‘rice and others’ was the Dan Dan Noodles with Pork Mince. It wasn’t the best rendition out there, but when coupled with a side of delicious Free Range Chicken with Scallion Oil and tender Sliced Herb-Braised Beef Gravy, its mediocrity was made less eminent. To my surprise, my partner claimed to enjoy the noodles as they were.
At the end of day what we had were some pretty common dishes but they were done with good, honest flavours that didn’t detract one component from the other, disregarding the Mung Bean Jelly with Chilli Oil which wasn’t very memorable.
A few restaurants have come and gone at this exact spot over the years, so hopefully these guys are here to stay.
Their cusine tastes good! They also provide the nice service to the customers. Besides, the atmosphere and the decoration of this restaurant give the customers a sense of comfort.
Fancy experience there! Food were very nice and service was so sweet as well👍 I love the beef noodles especially! had a great time with friends after a working day.
lovely environment, delicious noodlesand friendly service. strongly recommend House beef noodle and spring onion pancake, will come again.PS Love the bubble milke tea🙆
Had lunch here on a Wednesday afternoon. Pretty quiet with maybe 4 or 5 other tables taken. Had the special beef noodle which comes as a soup. Nice subtle broth, and chewy noodles. Beef slices were fantastic and flavoursome.
Complimentary kombu side dish and prawn crackers provided, which is nice. Would definitely return.
Just wish they did a full size dan dan noodles!
Amazing Chinese Noodles restaurant
Service is superb and food is extremely delicious. Will return once again
I have been walking pass this restaurant hundred times without noticing that it makes Sichuan spicy cuisine. Today I ordered a few classic Sichuan dishes and it has passed the test, gem found in carnegie again.
Hearty beef noodle soup, great selection, friendly service and clean environment. Will be back!
