We have just enjoyed a fabulous meal here with our family. The moo jus with freshly made Sour dough bread was to die for. Veal fungi cooked to perfection with the most wonderful truffle mash. Possibly the best hot chips that we've had in the ten years that we've lived in Australia. Definitely worth a visit for a relaxing family meal with enough choice on the menu to please everyone.
Great food, friendly staff and great service!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!
One week ago my husband and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary. Due to the coronavirus we were in lockdown and all restuarants were closed so we were unable to go out to celebrate. I phoned the Sedici and asked about providing a 3 course dinner. Jason was very happy to accommodate us, so we ordered an Antipasto with seafood for entree, a Seafood Hotpot & a Veal Scallopini for mains followed by a chocolate tart (to die for) for dessert. The service from the Sedici team was without fault, amazing food and.... we cannot praise them enough. Thanks Sedici. Marie & Alex, Glenhaven
Great little hidden gem. Best Italian ive had for a while. Make sure you leave room for desert, if you can. Great service aswell, very impressed.
Very lovely meal. Needs a bit more description on foods on menu but otherwise can't fault it. Garlic bread is garlic pizza for example. Chicken in Caesar Salad orange marinated chicken but very tasty just little unexpected . Thanks again for a great night will be back to try other menu items
Had visited Sedici before for pizza, which was nothing exciting. Though the toppings are lovely the base needs improvement.
We just visited again, avoided the pizza and oh my goodness! We've been missing out!! We even returned the following week to indulge again.
The scallop entree with pea risotto is first class, an absolute perfect balance of flavours. DO NOT MISS THIS! We sent our congratulations to the chef and on our second visit ordered one each so we didn't have to share. The roasted tomato and goats cheese stack entree was also surprisingly delicious.
My companions Saganaki prawn pasta was tasty and my basil and gorgonzola gnocci were the textbook Italian Australian. Very good.
The dessert! Wow. We fought, both times, between the Zabaglione tower and Orange and cinnamon pana cotta. Both are amazing, but I lean toward the pana cotta. I don't know what they do to the strawberries but if they began to offer a bowl of those alone I'd be delighted!
The antipasto platter served to other tables also looked fantastic - next time!
It's a small restaurant so the service is very attentive and friendly.
Our only negative is that it can get very noisy when full as the floors are tiled and the area is quite sparse. A few sound absorbing panels in the ceiling would fix this easily.
Bookings are definitely required on Friday and Saturday nights.
Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and atmosphere of the restaurant. Very family friendly, pizza (Mediterranean Vergetarian) was high quality, and rates close to the best I have eaten. The BYO is great and the fries and salad was unusual but very tasty and appropriate for the meals. Would return....great service.
