Great homey tasting noodle soups to feed the soul in this winter time. Price very reasonable and comfortable seating. Will definitely come again
Food’s fantastic, especially their steam fish head with pickled chilli — 雙色魚頭 is a must try dish. Unfortunately the store is extremely small and you must make a reservation before heading to the store. If you don’t make a booking, you’ll have to wait for more than an hour for your turn. 10/10 for their food, 2/10 for their space availability.
Can’t believe they are only 3.7 star. The go-to place for our family and friends. Highly recommended!
Try their fried rice, it’s not just an average fried rice, they do it properly. Other dishes are good too!
A very authentic Chinese restaurant that is worth a try!
Fast and friendly service, aplenty of dishes to choose from and reasonable prices. My favorite was the cauliflower (Stir Fry), it sounds simple but it's really good! The Pork Stir Fry with green chili is great too!
Only con: It is quite small and can get tight during busy hours.Other than that, great food and customer service. Will visit again!
We went to lunch today. This is lunch special for $11.8 one meat one veg plus $1 for rice. Beef is tasty and Tofu also spicy enough. Reasonable price and good location close to train station. Easy parking.
Busy busy at night and easy to see why. $11.80 set menu options of meat, veg and rice is good value. Choose from chicken and mushroom, been brisket and potato, bean curd puff and pork, beans and mince, eggplant amongst others. Let's Bab had a lock on my takeaway dollars. Until now.
I ordered the pickled bean, pork rice noodles, as it's a traditional Hunan noodles. It's so yummy, a bit spicy and broth is full of flavours. The service is attentive and polite.
I came here with my hunan frds. They all highly recommended this restaurant if you would like to try some native cuisine from hunan province. I highly recommend the sour radishes with chicken stir fried, smoked bean curd with chilies, and pork belly with picked chilies. They r not very spicy. It’s good to try the traditional noodles which my frd has it every day in hunan. She said it’s their daily food just like the bread or rice or pasta to us.
Genuine Hunan food or not, if you like spicy Chinese food (that is not Sichuan) you probably like this place. The food here is good, though not excellent, because the best Hunan food is in Hunan ( I was born there so I know how good the food are up there), and I cannot say they are extremely genuine, for what is in Australia this is close, definitely a little different in turns of the spicy taste and spicy levels and some ingredients. Overall this is one of my family's favourites.
