Tucked away on the side of Hawker Lane, Westfield Chatswood’s Asian themed food court, is a Vietnamese casual eatery chain called Madame Nhu’s. My girlfriend was looking for something fresh to snack on when in the area so she decided to try the Shiitake Spring Rolls Vermicelli. The presentation of the dish was exquisite for a casual, takeaway eatery and every element was carefully placed to give maximum visual impact.
Madam Nhu in the city used to be my regular lunch spot until I moved to Chatswood. Now I come here. They're famous for pho for a very good reason. The broth is deep and flavoursome, the noodle is slippery and well-cooked and the Tasmanian beef brisket is soft and tender. I also love the quirky ambience of this food hall.
I’ve followed Madam Nhu on her worldwide adventures for a looooong time on Instagram, and it’s nice to see that her staff is bringing Asian hospitality to her new stall. And no, it’s not a nice way of saying that they chat amongst themselves and ignore you. No, they were an absolute delight, and all smiles in the face of unending crowds.

Madame Nhu has been serving Vietnamese food to the people of Sydney since 2007.
Now boasting five locations, their latest is part of the foodie enclave of Hawker Lane in Westfield Chatswood.
Madame Nhu highlights that they were the first to bring vietnamese summer rolls to Sydney back in 2007.
We tried them on our visit and they were delicious. The fresh crisp flavours shone through and the dipping sauce added some extra intensity.
It's so easy to see why these are so popular, but they have plenty of other choices there as well including a wide range of pho.
Madame Nhu in Chatswood is just as good as her Surry Hills eatery! Don't be fooled by the fact that it's in a food court/ food hall. Got my favourite tassie thick cut brisket pho here and it was delicious!
4.2 - I liked it. Got a Pho Dac Biet, and even though the tripe was missing, it was full of beef balls and beef slices, the bean sprouts were plenty, and the noodles were good. The soup was light, fresh and tasty. I loved the huge slice of lemon I got with my larger bowl at $18.80. Service was fine - the lady was pleasant, loud enough to hear about the noise of the food court, and responsive to questions. (In fact, she helped a man to find the Exit just now). Only 2 things that would've helped this score - if it would have been ready quicker (although I did see them making batch orders for food services), and more Basil and the missing tripe please, would've been great!
The food was SOOO good my camera didn't get to eat first, which rarely happens lol I ordered the three style beef noodle soup with extra vegetables
Amazing Vietnamese pho and cold coffee in Chatswood at decent prices located in the bustling Hawker Lane. Loads of choice but definitely give this place a try.
Spicy beef noodle soup was delicious, filling and good value for money.......nice friendly staff.
