Very affordable sushi train just outside Chatswood Chase. All plates on the train $3.50 except for sashimi. Lots to choose from and the chefs are more than happy to make if you want something different. Open at 11:30am so perfect for kids who eat lunch early. They are wonderful with my kids, we come here about once per week. A few highchairs, small plastic water cups for kids with straws, and they give the kids lollies at the end of the meal. All the sushi is fresh and tasty. Staff are always happy and very accommodating.

Sushi Rio is my go to place to eat sushi. The selection is enormous and the taste is great! I love that their side dishes are even $3.50. Chicken karage lovers you’ll love this place! The staff are friendly and efficient and I’ve been here a couple of times and I’ve had no complaints! Sushi Rio is definitely an underrated sushi train in Sydney!

Yay for opening in Chatswood! In Sydney, sushi trains are either decent enough to keep going back or terrible and pricey that you wouldn't go back. There isn't anything superb - every sushi train is similar and it's just that there are bad ones and super pricey ones. Sushi Rio is one of those $3.50 all plates except for gold plates. It is great quality sushi for the price you pay. Their sushi is not just covered with mayo. It is decent and we had about 20 plates. I am just so glad that they opened one in Chatswood- we used to go to Town Hall but it was always so packed that we could not expect any form of service.

I liked Ozeki Sushi more. The sushi was smaller than before, and the waitings lines are gone. The sashimi was extremely overpriced. The food was still good though.

Fantastic sushi at a great price! Better value than Makoto. Have been here multiple times and always satisfied! Try the grilled scallop and spicy grilled salmon!

Sushi Rio in the city has been my favourite sushi train for many years, and its new offering in Chatswood does not disappoint. It continues to serve up top quality sushi at flat rates (except sashimi). The service is also fast and friendly. I was never a fan of Ozeki which was not really Japanese. Very glad to see if replaced by Sushi Rio.
