Small menu that apparently changes seasonally. Next time I’m in Melbourne I will try it again 100% Awesome customers and heaps of locals that made the place even more comfortable. Staff really new what they where doing 👍🏼

The Lambshank Redemption

Good, strong coffee and some very tasty spinach and cheese gozleme. We felt really welcome here as the staff were kind, you could tell they were well-liked in the community - definitely recommend especially as Coburg gets busier!

Flirting shadows is small in size, but not in flavour and choice. The owner is always trying new things, tailoring the menu to his customers and their requests. Really affordable food that’s satisfying and tasty!

This place is truly a hidden gem in the heart of coburg. Amongst the dozens of cafes and restaurants in the area, flirting shadows stands out with its quality and and consistency. Amazing cafe with a unique offering for breakfast and snacking.

This place is truly a hidden gem and undervalued, the owner is very enthusiastic a particular about his coffee, therefore you will definitely get a bang for your buck especially if you know your coffee. Tried their sumit with cream and berries and it was light and delicious with a strong Latte on the the side to top it off. I always try to drop by when I'm in the area as this place has definitely set a standard for coffee.

It was my first time trying Flirting Shadows but can I just say, How great everything was! Hot Choc was delicious! The Coffee was just how coffee is meant to be. Customer service, the positive vibe was just fantastic! Can't wait till it opens back!

I have been here mainly to grab a coffee. I remember when it first opened close to 3 years ago now. I notice how busy it is; a great atmosphere. I had a great coffee this morning. Lucky really shows what true customer service is and takes the time and interest in making the customer feel important. I enjoyed the authentic Turkish bread toastie which had cheese, Turkish sausage, BBQ sauce. Very delicious!

Lucky is the man. Runs a great little cafe with a good vibe and community spirit. But importantly, the coffee is where it is at and there are some great traditional Turkish snacks and classic sweets to stuff your face with.

I had a lot of the food and coffee over the years at flirting shadows. In my personal experience, the food is healthy and taste Beautiful!! The coffee is the best I've ever had.. and as for the poeple and company, including the man who makes the coffee and preapairs the food and drink.. it's always a positive and wonderful experience.!

The fact that this place has a significant number of regular customers is a telltale of the wonderful, friendly service from the proprietor. It feels more you’re going to a mate’s place. Decent coffee and decadent toasties (though might be a wait for the latter if they’re busy) are icing on the cake.

What appeared to be a small, unassuming cafe happened to be the first place I went to for coffee when I moved to Coburg. Not only did it turn out to be the best coffee I've had in Coburg, it's up there with the best coffee I've had in Melbourne. The proprietor is a super nice guy! Most of the customers are regulars, which tells you all you need to know.
