Took my partner up to Riverstone up for her birthday in March and were blown away as soon as we drove up the driveway by the view. The best I've seen in the Yarra Valley.
We were greeted with a glass of wine and a beautiful cheese and biscuit platter and sat out on the amazing deck staring out into the view. It was perfect.
The team at Riverstone are great. Friendly, warm and accomodating and I would recommend anyone wanting a day out in the Yarra Valley popping into Riverstone for a glass of grape and a squiz at the view.
We have lunched at Riverstone quite a few times over past years, and love the setting and backdrop of rolling hills.Before Christmas I quickly purchased a couple of "specials" vouchers on offer. We used the first today and it did not disappoint. We were able to sample a full array of wines, before choosing ones to accompany our shared cheese and dessert platter -a light snack-type lunch, which we could have augmented for something more substantial from the menu had we wanted. However, today it was perfect for the post (over-indulged) holiday period, and we took home 2 bottles of the lovely wine (Rose) that had complemented our lunch.
...And with a second voucher, we can look forward to doing it all ver again!
All the 4 or 3 staff members we interacted with today were very friendly, helpful and professional
Beautiful lunch here at River Stone Estate. Not a wide ranging menu but all dishes were cooked well and very tasty. Highlights include the Veal Gnocchi and Passionfruit Pannacotta. Scenery of the Yarra Valley was spectacular too. Service was prompt and would definitely return!
Even though we attended this lovely beautiful winery with a voucher the staff did not treat us any different! They went above and beyond a wonderful service top notch restaurant! The food were divine and totally delicious! And the view is stunning! The wines were a good drop that I even got a few bottles! Definitely worth coming here!
Thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting & lunch at Riverstone. The food & service were both impeccable, as was the magnificent view from our table. Riverstone comes highly recommended at around $70pp for 3 courses
Great overall experience. We were a group of 6 adults and four toddlers/infants. Despite being on a voucher the staff looked after us sensationally. The food was delicious, the wine tasting informative and very good quality and the staff were perfect hosts. The view from the balcony is lovely as well. We are certainly looking forward to coming back and will add it to our list of reliable Yarra Valley wineries to bring interstate guests or just when we feel like a nice day out!
Riverstone has a very stunning view of the Yarra Valley. The food was beautiful and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The wine tasting experience was also very nice. We had a very relaxing and wonderful afternoon there. The only thing I would recommend to improve is a more kids friendly menu.
It was ok. Lovely setting on a beautiful afternoon. Friendly staff and the wines are not bad but too expensive. Luckily we were there with a voucher because as others have said, it's rather bland food and the rosti was nigh on raw so tasted bad (though it looked lovely and brown). The signature Mousse is worth having though, but yeah the icecream served with it was ordinary. My friend's lemon tart was inedible. Too bad. It took a lot of driving to get there but probably it's a oncer.
Simple fare with a touch of class. Attentive staff, gorgeous setting. Will be back!
Our wedding at the Riverstone Estate was just amazing. From the first meeting at the venue, stepping out of the car and seeing that magnificent view, hearing about the all inclusive package we were sold. From there communication with Nicola and Nicole the wedding coordinators was just fantastic, quick to respond, excellent recommendations list of suppliers. On the day, our wedding was everything we could imagine and more! The day ran perfectly, Tony from front of house was on top of everything. The ceremony on the lawn in front of that view was spectacular. The food was amazing at the reception, we had a relaxed grazing reception, dance floor on the balcony was amazing! Absolutely 5 stars, couldn’t recommend Riverstone enough!

We were married at Riverstone Estate in January 2022.
After the complications of COVID, it was nice to complete our wedding day in such a marvellous location and with such confident and attentive staff.
Weddings are such a difficult time right up until the moment you walk out the venue door at the end, but the staff just made us feel so confident in them that we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the night.
The supplier list they provided of vendors that have worked at the location previously was a fantastic tool for finding businesses that could make the day great. It's those little touches that help.
The only thing that was a bit questionable was the weather! But I think they didn't have a lot of input on that! Having said this, the staff were so attune with the location conditions that they were brave enough to say "If your wife is ready to go, we should get this thing going now." Sure enough, we completed the ceremony, and as we walked back down the aisle, it rained. Perfect timing for a nice umbrella shot to reflect the nature of the day.
I have no hesitation in recommending the venue if you are contemplating a wedding in the Yarra Valley.
We purchased a scoopon voucher & enjoyed a 2 course dinner being entree & main each. Enjoyable meal & lovely service from the young waitresses. Beautiful location which I'm sure in spring & summer it would be pleasant to eat outdoors on the decking.
We were one of the couples who got caught with Covid lockdowns....6 times. The staff were beyond amazing helping us reschedule each time. Nothing was too much trouble. If the view and facilities aren't enough to have you already sold on having your big day here, the delicious food and wonderful staff will. Our guests still talk about how spectacular this venue is and how wonderful our big day was.
Amazing Venue to have your wedding at. All the staff make sure to make all your wedding dreams and wishes come true.
So greatful we picked you guys over everyone.
The food was amazing and you cannot bet the views and sunset photos at this venue are amazing.

How privileged we are to have been married at the most beautiful venue in the Yarra Valley! We found The Riverstone Estate a few years ago through a wine and cheese tasting voucher and were completely blown away by the breathtaking views of the valley and beautiful vibes of the Cellar Door. It was always the venue in mind for us to tie the knot. The team at Riverstone made the wedding planning process effortless and they were so accommodating with organising the schedule so we could spend the most amount of time with our guests.
We had to reschedule our wedding date three times and Riverstone were so supportive during this process. Our wedding co-coordinators Nicola and Nicole were fantastic across each of the reschedule dates and were so great with communication.
Sheila, Tony and the whole team were incredible on the day! Everything was so well timed and we felt so at ease the whole day, as we knew everything was being taken care of.
We love coming back to Riverstone to enjoy the space as every time it feels like a completely new view. Highly recommended for a Wedding or any celebration!! :) :)
Riverstone from start to finish were amazing! They were very accomodating and have such a friendly team to deal with.
Couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else! Let’s not even get started on the views and the vibes you get up there.

My husband and I were lucky enough to get married at the stunning Riverstone Estate 3 years ago. Since then we love returning for a beautiful lunch and to enjoy this special place. Food and service is always excellent- never disappoints. Staff amazing and always remember us. Thank you for always continuing to make our time at Riverstone memorable.
