Food was beautiful, coffee was good and service was fantastic. Extremely friendly staff. The wait for our food was less then 10 minutes. Definitely would recommend!

We really enjoyed all aspects of our experience at Local Crowd. Recommended by a friend that lives nearby (namely to try the vanilla slice; it's a winner of you were wondering!) we found Local Crowd to have a really casual atmosphere whilst staff were extremely professional and offered table service and assistance with our 2yo son. I had a fantastic coffee and our meals were wonderful. The menu is experimental and not your normal eggs/toast/mushrooms deal. The corn fritters with spicy sauce were made beautifully, so fluffy inside, great crunchy outer and not at all oily. Served with a rocket salad it was so well balanced. The smoked salmon on rye was very much my kind of meal, well balanced.
How should I bring my baby in?: A pram would most likely fit through both doors to get into the dining area but there is also outdoor dining. There are IKEA highchairs available.

Amazing strong tasting coffee served up by the lovely staff. Very quaint and quiet scenery to enjoy. Hard to go past the slow cooked brisket for brekky!

Visited what was previously The Stranded Store on beautifully warm autumn morning. Greeted by Abdullah's friendly smile. Service was efficient and friendly. Coffee was great, and the food was delicious. Still a cute little cafe in the burbs.

Great little cafe nestled in a very inviting area. Service is good, always friendly and inviting. Coffee is very smooth and looks and tastes like the barrista on duty knows there trade. I've had the ricotta pancakes and the cheeseburger, both of which are a pleasure to eat! Im a sucker for fries, and their fries are top notch!

Can you go any better in this area?
The good: the host and service was fantastic. My food arrived pretty much in an instance, looked awesome and tasted great. The whole ambiance is nice and welcoming. They have a good tea selection and for the coffee drinkers - lots of people stopped by to put in their coffee order.
The not so good: hard to find anything - maybe some more options on the menu.
I took a detour to get there, going d the place via Zomato - absolutely worthwhile. Thank you.

You'll never expect this cafe to be hidden inside a housing estate! Service was quick and food was promptly served (I almost didn't have to wait at all!). I had the Classic Cheeseburger with Brioche buns and although it was a tad too salty for my liking, the crispy shoestrings fries that came along with the dish, made up for it. A pity I was too full and wanted the try the desserts so badly. Despite the dishes being a little on the pricier side, I am keen on coming back.

Great coffee, food and service. Pros; My favourite wait staff ever! So friendly and genuine (and funny). Great coffee. Great food. Priced ok. Ambient. Outdoor seating. Misting outside to keep cool when it's hot. Good menu. Great fritters and burnt butter hollandaise! Can book a table. Opening hours are good (for Adelaide.....). Good dessert/sweet options. Cons; can get very busy.

Great coffee. Location is beautiful, right on The Strand in Colonel Light Gardens. Large cafe tastefully decorated. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Fantastic specials. All in all a solid breakfast joint, even if you aren't part of the "Local Crowd"!

One of the better places in town. Great food, awesome coffee, brilliant friendly service. Been here plenty of times and will come back plenty more. Hidden away in the suburbs, this place is a gem to find.

I have been there few times since the change of ownership and new chef and must say best Brunch ever every single time!
Service is great. Coffee too.
And the food..what to say? Ordinary brunch food with out of ordinary taste. It's really unique. You can really taste the commitment and extra care behing every single disb.
Last time I tried the vegan chicken burger, never taste anything closer to real chicken. 😋

The new ownership is doing fantastic. Staff are super helpful and lovely. Your coffee is definitely in my top 3 favourites:)
Only thing I would suggest is, would be awesome to have a couple more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. Thanks for the energy you put in!

Hats off to the new head chef! How fantastic is it to have such a talented chef smashing out such incredible food, such as the ox tongue dish in a little back street cafe. I will be a regular that’s for sure.

Local Crowd is in a great location and has polite and friendly staff. really liked the food. coffee personally was a 7 out of 10 but people have different tastes. I would absolutely reccommend a visit. This place looks after you!
