Absolutely sensational. My wife and I were there from word of mouth for our 17 year wedding anniversary absolutely The best food ever with great atmosphere. My wife and I had the platter for two it was beautiful, cooked to perfection, great view looking over south Cronulla beach, cold magnificent German beer by the litre, really it doesn’t get any better than this.
If you give this place a miss you are settling for second best.

Delicious German food and beer. The German owner and waitress are super nice.
Sauerkraut tastes perfect, not too wet and cooked with pepper and spices. Pork knuckle is crunchy outside while the meat is still soft and juicy. I love the cheese sausage, fresh and crispy. The starters are all good, like the crumbled mushroom, Camembert and calamari.
Definitely I will come again.
I did love the cheese sausage! But the chips were quite soggy and the pretzel were a little too soft, not so crispy & the bread was super soft and soggy too.
I ordered the curry ketchup but I couldn’t taste any curry in it.
Loved the sausage though! It was so yummy and fresh!
there are so many flavored beers to choose. food are generous in portion and delicious in taste. we had a such lovely weekend in this place with our little one. best Germen food in town!

I’ve traveled through Germany and a huge lover of German restaurants and in comparison Mia’s is outstanding. The beer and service was excellent too. Whilst the establishment is small one day it will be huge. Well done John, your German hospitality is the best!
Went to Mia’s tonight with the family for my sisters birthday. I had the pork knuckle and it was amazing! So tender inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. Staff were great, made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble.
(Also, quick shout out to the sauerkraut… understated and delicious)
Amazing German restaurant in the Shire. I really enjoyed my visit last Sunday. Friendly customer service. The restaurant had a great vibe and open dining space. Great for small groups and large crowds.
A wide variety of dishes. Decent pricing. You can get individual or shared meals.
They have an ample selection of drinks. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Even non-alcoholic beers.
