This is place is great! Nothing beats some tasty meat on a stick and some Japanese beer to wash it all down. Wagyu skewer was the winner! Plus the cabbage side was super tasty too. Great service and good food.

Well I think I am too hungry when I ordered so overspent. Food overall not bad but the price shocked me. It won’t be $40 for two pp if you have drinks and decent amount of food for lunch or dinner. I don’t eat much but 18 skewer each include rice make me just full.

Great small restaurant for your close friends. You must book a table, and not suitable for a big group.

The service is very attentive, 4 to 5 staff make sure you are looked after. They clean up the table frequently as well.
You order yakitori and other food on order form. They deliver whatever ready, not at once. Therefore you should not be hurry to eat or bring someone who aren't your close friend! This is the place where you enjoy the time with friends, with food.

Amazing izakaya. Feels like Japan as soon as you walk in. Very good service. The highlights were chicken meatball with onsen egg, pork jowl and raw octopus. They serve many Asian beers and alcoholic drinks. Perfect way to spend a Friday night. The place is small so bookings are essential.

This place is an absolute gem! It’s a tiny restaurant with good authentic vibes. The staff members there are very friendly and attentive. I really wanted to order one of everything in the menu because everything looked and smelt so amazing while they were cooking! Will definitely come back.

Loved this place! Staff were lovely. We had a whole bunch of things - my fav being the chicken dish with the 63 degree egg. We also had some of their Japanese whiskey and sake which was great

Delighted to have this little place close to home. Most of the options are amazing! And very authentic Japanese style. Now that I've tried the whole menu, I know what to stick to, in order to have a 5/5 experience.

My favourite yakitori in Sydney. Almost everything is delicious.
Run by Japanese with predominantly Japanese waitstaff.
Servings a little small though!

It has been 10 months since my boyfriend and I have indulged in some belly filling and finger licking meat sticks of joy known as yakitori. Decent yakitori joints in Sydney are few and far between, and the trek to the north side of the bridge was DEFINITELY worth it.
It felt like we were back in the alleys of Tokyo again when we entered Yurippi. The smell of grilled meats, the décor, and the atmosphere was very authentic. We ordered a total of 10 x 2 plates of yakitori and a couple of sides, and every plate was delivered with an ‘arigato’ or ‘thanks for waiting’ – NO, arigato to you for serving us such delicious food!! Stick after stick was filling my mouth with such deliciousness. I didn’t know where the stick of goodness started and where my tongue ended. Umami explosions from the meat were further pushed to higher levels of satisfaction from a nice cold pint of asahi black.. ON TAP MIND YOU.
We’ll definitely be back for more and losing our taste buds to some fine yakitori. My boyfriend was so lost in the flavours he could have sworn as soon as we left, 7/11’s, Family Mart’s, and Lawson’s were waiting for us outside. Alas it was just Crows Nest.

Absolutely outstanding takes me back to being in Japan. Omotenashi is all I need to say for the service. The food was outstanding we ended sitting outdoors and cooking our own skewers and opted for the premium set menu. The chicken meatball served with egg was amazing, as well as the tooth fish. To be fair all skewers were amazing by the end of the night we'd eaten our way through all but a few skewers. Shout out to Tin and the whole team for such an amazing experience highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

Since this yakitori went famous on TikTok their prices have skyrocketed (dunno why). Still wanted to try it tho. Can’t say it was an amazing experience, more so average. I was seated later than the booking & the selection is very limited. Everything you see costed me $102, which is pre steep. For reference, Rengaya Burwood, an all you-can-eat yakiniku only costs $95 for a wider variety & greater ambience. I actually preferred the chicken thigh skewers cause it was so juicy, & recommend the in-house matcha tart. Won’t be coming back since I don’t see the hype & it’s quite far. It was a unique experience.

Great cosy little yakitori location, the food and meat was good quality. Only concern is the really small serving size so it’s not suitable for large eaters. The desserts were also decent, my favourite was the yuzu sorbet (amazing and very strong yuzu flavour) but the matcha cheesecake was incredibly dry so I didn’t like it. The service was really good, and they explained to us what each item was before serving.
