Came here for a decent pub meal, and was surprised by the food and service.
Food was superb, and huge portions. Service was quick, very good, and accommodating, especially with a child.
Most definitely a recommended place to visit, for a great meal, when in town.
We popped in for a drink as we were staying next door. They had craft beers on tap and it was a good country pub atmosphere. We Didn't eat there but it had a standard pub menu and the meals coming out looked really good - generous.
Not many restaurants opened till mid night in Denmark but its one of the best to try for dinner. Comfortable environment by servicing fine dining and wines/beer. Good is good even a little pricey
I really impressed with their steak. It's so fresh and perfectly cooked. It's so juicy. The portion is pretty big. A lil bit pricey but it's worth to try. I definitely want to come back again.
Great little spot for a beer and snacks.. Over looking the lake in the beer garden just magic
NYE dinner. Being down south over the festive period we thought we should go out for a special meal & obviously had limited options so thought we'd check out the local tavern. We were pleasantly surprised! Dining room was really nice, the menu was varied & the prices actually weren't too bad considering it's a tourist spot. Regardless our meals were delicious & cooked just how we asked & looking around the room other dishes looked very appealing! Great meal would like to go back & try their seafood platter & steak sandwich next!
Incredible meal! I had the scotch fillet and my partner had the BBQ rib special. The chips were the highlight, super crisp and tasty! The steak melted in my mouth and the BBQ ribs were so tender the meat literally fell off the bone :)

Highly Recommended. I can't recommend Denmark Tavern enough. There is no way you could ever leave there hungry, and with a massive (and I mean MASSIVE) menu, there is something for even the fussiest.
Meals are very well priced, and even bigger in size! I don't think I've ever finished a meal there, but always left satisfied.
Staff are lovely - they always acknowledge you quickly, are helpful and make polite conversation.
Denmark Tavern was a recommendation to us - and I won't hesitate in recommending it further. Loved it.
Best pub food in the Great Southern and it's not even close. Big servings, reasonable prices and good service. If you're a burger fan, you have to try one of theirs. They're really really good
Tanya was amazing! Bar person, waitress, cleaner - a one woman show! She was friendly and efficient, unfazed that due to staff shortages she was doing everything on her own - we hope her employers appreciate what a gem she is! The meals were delicious and plentiful- well done chef. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming on a bitterly cold night, thank you!
The staff are very nice and friendly. Very good service and fun to talk to. The food here was amazing/ recommend garlic prawns. Make sure to say hello to Tanya/owner.
Absolutely loved the welcoming attitude of the staff. Great meal. Tidy rooms.
Professional service and staff. Limited menu as Chef finishing 2 weeks 'Covid isolation'. Amenities were clean. Venue a little outdated and could do with a refresh. Fare was average and adequate.
Will be a while before I revisit this hotel for a meal.
