Fantastic little cafe that offers a Malaysian/international themed brunch as well as hawker style dishes. Our favourites are the Hokkien noodles, curry laksa and wat tan hot (stir fried rice noodles in egg gravy). Keep an eye out for the daily specials- they have a fantastic Pan Mee which we always get when on offer. Since the pandemic we have only been able to get take away which has been excellent but also can’t wait to enjoy the brunch options in house too.

Ordered takeaway and portion size is good, presentation looks good. Flavours are spot on. Ordered nasi lamak and hainanese chicken rice. Both taste delicious. Not sure if they forgot to give me chicken soup for the hainanese chicken rice but would be prefect with it. Will continue to go back to try the other dishes on the menu.

We came here for a quick dinner. Friendly attentive staff. Quick service and tasty food. Would have liked if they provided a knife with the cutlery. Wine not available by glass yet.

This restaurant is underrated. Some dishes are absolutely fantastic and really good representation of Malaysian food (but others can be a hit and miss). They offer kuehs, nasi lemak and curry puff as well which makes a great snack if you come here for tea break and coffee.
Fried rice, is the best I've had. Unrivalled with the amount of wok hei and umami that I myself cannot explain.
Hakka braised pork with egg noodles, a special on the weekend is absolutely amazing with the pork just melting in your mouth.
Slightly on the expensive side, about 15-16 for a hawker dish, but in my opinion quite worth it for the size.

A great cheap option for a decent size lunch. The curry laksa had some chewy chicken bits but other than that it was still Avery good chicken laksa.

I have been a regular at Two Circles for a while and finally had the chance to take my family here for lunch recently. We ordered the jumbo size curry laksa with vermicelli, prawn noodles and claypot chicken and mushroom noodles. The laksa is the best I’ve had in Melbourne and the jumbo size is just incredible value - it’s packed with so much chicken, roast pork, pork belly and heaps of vegetables they were almost spilling off the bowl! A noodle of this size for under $20 is hard to find anywhere nowadays. My family’s favourite was the prawn noodle and they said it’s so tasty that they literally finished within minutes! The staff here were very friendly and attentive and took really good care of us on the day.
Tip: this cafe also make their own curry puffs and delicious Malaysian kuih desserts. But you want to come in early because they only make limited batches everyday.

Been coming to this cafe for a while now since last year. Use to be called Valencia cafe, but recently changed names to Two Circles Cafe.

The food quality is still as good as it before. Came here with my partner as we were in the mood for an excellent Laksa!
Was not disappointed at all, their Laksa is one of the best I've had outside of Malaysia. The broth is quite thick and creamy, excellent flavours, coupled with fresh ingredients and some of the best vermicelli noodles in town🤤
We also got the nasi lemak which was very flavourable and the fried anchovies with peanuts were just like how they do it in Malaysia!

Food: very authentic Malaysian food with a little western twist in some dishes, but their Malay dishes is why you go there🤤
Service: good very with attentive staff, can be better when serving meals together instead of the longer than average wait times, but nothing too serious.
Price: quite good value for money with the large portion sizes and quality of food!

Overall it's a solid 4.8/5😍

This place deserve more attention. I really love their food especially their laksa and pork noodles. The weekdays' breakfast special has good selection and their price is very reasonable. Please support them!

Delicious authentic Malaysian food executed perfectly. We have tried a number of their hawker dishes and they do not disappoint. They serve coffee and alcohol as well which is an added bonus. Very good service staff as well. Always polite and accommodating. Will be back for dinner service!

Went here after seeing some good reviews in Facebook group. So glad that I chose this place after whole day on the road. Portion was good as you can see on the photos. Laksa were really nice and delicious, maybe just need a bit more chicken. Had iced teh tarik and 3 layers milk tea as well. Service was great, the staffs were really nice. Definitely will come back when we are in the area. Want to try the other foods on the menu. Looks good when I saw them on the other tables.

Great food here! The salted egg yolk chicken ribs are so full of flavour and tastes exactly like you think it should. The hokkien Mee is good but could do with a little less sauce or having the sauce thicker. The Wat Tan Hor is one of the best around. I'm looking forward to trying it with the crispy mee. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended!

Nice Malaysian spot in Doncaster East. Majority of dishes are delicious. My favourite is laksa. I also like their mix of coffee and milk tea. It’s probably not for everyone but something unique.

Really delicious Malaysian food! We usually get the Hokien Mee, Chicken rice, fish head noodle soup and Wat Dan Hor with ice teh tarik. So far we haven’t been disappointed. The Hokien Mee and Wat Dan Hor are our favorite. The Hokien mee has strong flavor from the rich thick sauce and pork lards and the wat dan hor with Ying yong is just really delicious, got wok hei too! Staff are friendly and place is usually busy so make sure to book or come early!

Delightful malaysiam cuisine find in Doncaster. We had the currypuff and lobak interspersed with our main - wat tan hor (with crispy yee mee). The lobak had the authentic flavour (although nothing still beats the one I grew up with at SS2 Chow Yang) but still pretty good. I have a thing for spiral curry puffs. Again it is good, my #3. Suitable for those who enjoys their filling a little more wet than normal. The best thing is that it is fried fresh to order so prepare for piping hot giddiness once you tuck in. Our fav by far is the wat tan hor. We'll try it with the kway teow next!

char kuay teow : to appease the ‘wok breath’ (wok hei) devotees it should be a little more charred- however that aside it was seasoned perfectly, just a touch spicey, dark soy, meat and some vegetables. the noodles were moist, tender and not too greasy. The Wat Dan Hor (rice noodles with egg gravy) is definitely worth a try- it was well seasoned- try it out and make up your own mind. service was friendly. prices reasonable.

Delicious food. The handmade curry puffs were perfection 👌 as was the Nasi Lemak and everything else we ordered. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again and again to try everything on the menu. Great local.
