On the days that I can't bring myself to boil water to cook an msg-filled instant packet noodle or bear to eat another bowl of cereal for Dinner, JJ's Fish&Chips are the best go-to for a quick craving of highly saturated goodness of starch.For the most part, I am quite lazy and to cater, JJ fulfils the minimum criteria 1. Close to home2. Hip pocket friendly3. FastBe pleasantly surprised when you unravel the butcher wrap to see an extra dim sim or potato cake tossed in ( generally when u order either or both ) JJ's wont disappoint. their minimum chips is ample, their fish is battered well and service is fast.thumbs up to this Asian operated outlet at Jackson court. Do note - Should you drive a big vehicle, avoid parking in the cramped U-shape parking lot,otherwise you'll find yourself doing a 30 point turn to exit and my Dagger eyes on you if you're blocking my way.
The fried flake is a star, Always judge a shop on their batter, fish and chips.
The oil they use is by far the best tasting.

This fish and chip shop is not the closest one to my house, but I come here because the chips are excellent. Cooked just the way I like....golden crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Not greasy. Not over cooked. So so moorish. Highly recommend. Generous serve.
I eat fish and chips only twice a year, so I want it to be good. JJ’s never disappoints. The whiting and blue grenadier has a beautifully sweet flavour, and the batter is perfectly crunchy. Chips are great - must be the quality of the oil. Potato cakes are also awesome, and they always throw in an extra. The staff/owners are super polite. Love being able to support a local small business.
Ordered a burger with the lot in my way home tonight .. I called the order through and they said it would be ready in 10 min ... I walked in to the shop 9 min after I called and it was ready .. shop is hidden away off the main road (doncaster road) and parking can be tricky at peak times ...the shop looks clean and two staff behind the counter were friendly enough .... burger was probably one of the best I've had in years ... it wasn't dry or sloppy..and everything was cooked perfectly ... I'll be back to try other items on their menu ..
I’ve been going to JJs for the last 3 years. They have great service and the food comes out fast and taste great. They are always generous with the amount of food which is why I’ll continue to take out from JJs.
Great chips and burgers always consist.
Chips are fresh and not greasy, burgers taste like homemade and not too salty.

For a Saturday night, the order was quick, 15 mins. We walked in the door and it had just been placed in the warmer. As others have noted, well cooked, hot and fresh food, not soggy chips (a good sign of hot clean oil). We also received more fish bites, potato and pumpkin cakes than ordered. That said, we had left overs!!!
The pumpkin cakes are so yum. The fried fish is always a good size too. I have no issues with pricing, the fish is getting close to $6, but that's everywhere, not just here.

Okay.... so i only got potato cakes but to be honest, very pleased with this small sample of what they have to offer. Good quality batter, well salted and very tasty.
Normal corner store, staff were nice, ordered 2 potato cakes and they gave 3!

Awesome fish & chip joint! Love this place & can't fault them! Flake, potato cake & chips always fresh and melt in your mouth! Pricing is also very good & phone orders are quick. All the workmates love this place!
