I really like the old menu with tofu and the bun. A little bit mix between Vietnamese cuisine and western style cuisine. Kinda interesting!

Takeaway
Item: vermicelli salad - fried tofu
A good balance of vermicelli and greens, the crushed peanuts and mint really gave the dish a lot of texture. Fried tofu was a bit bland, maybe freshly fried tofu would have elevated the dish. I would recommend this dish, however it is on the pricey side at $19 for a serving of 1.
Love coming here for the Hanoi spring rolls and the satisfying bowls of Pho. Friendly snappy service too. Warning: the sate sauce accompaniment is highly addictive!

This place is great for some good quality Vietnamese cuisine. I got the coconut poached chicken salad - it was really fresh with lots of different textures. The size was also quite large and I couldn’t finish it. Definitely a place I would revisit. The only thing I would say it is slightly on the more expensive side.
You will definitely be impressed if visiting Hanoi Hannah! Firstly, I love the menu - it's just so innovative and I found it hard to choose. I went for the Aromatic Yellow Curry which was delicious. I wanted more! My partner had the market fish which was great also and did have an authentically Vietnamese taste.
The definitely do great drinks here also. I had a fresh coconut which I enjoyed (as you don't find that everywhere in Melbourne) and the Hanoi Mojito which was full of flavour and super refreshing.
It really is a great place to be on a hot summers evening. Vietnamese, some nice cocktails and a good atmosphere - what more could you want?
Well done team!
Fantastic food and service. I personally like all the dishes we ordered especially the roasted duck dish! I was surprised that it’s perfect with fried crunchy noodles. The price comes a bit of expensive but overall it’s a good place to go if you haven’t tried yet.
Came here on a Monday night for a birthday. We booked for 5. It was very busy for a Monday which is a sign the restaurant is very popular!
Salmon tartare was fresh, zesty and tangy. The cracker provided a textural element that made the dish a standout. Red oil wontons were tasty but the lime and pepper squid is a must! We also ordered the canh chua which was delegate and well balanced. I would honestly just return for this dish- amazing! Another dish to try is the dry aged roast duck which had very different flavours to every other dish we ordered. It was also very generous in the duck portion. If you’re looking for a healthy and fresh side don’t look past the herb salad. It looks unassuming but boy does it pack a punch.
This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in a long time and I just wish I lived closer to Hanoi Hannah. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
Loved this place so much that I was there two days in a row. The first time I came with a friend for a nibble and a tipple, and the next day, I came back for dinner with another friend.
A few of the cocktails here are influenced by Asian flavours, with ingredients such as palm sugar, kaffir lime leaves, coconut milk, chillies and the likes. I had the Coconut + Palm Sugar Crush, and the Monitor, and both hit the spot. The distinctive taste of the starring ingredients really jumps out at you, and an absolute pleasure to drink.
The salmon tartare kicked off the meal with a bang. The light and delicate flavours helped ready our palate for what was to come. It was zesty, zingy and the crackers made for great texture.
The yellow curry was so moreish and actually went better with the bread that came with the braised beef. Slightly sweet, incredibly aromatic, and with layers of flavours that all come together beautifully. The braised beef was just as flavourful, with its deep savoury flavours, but one or two chunks of beef was a tad dry. Those that weren't though, were a picture of tender and moist perfection.
I was torn between the tiramisu and the fried ice cream, and settled on the latter with the intention to come back a 3rd time for the tiramisu. Not a bad choice I must say, as the lemongrass caramel and custard helped jazzed up the simple fried ice cream. I wasn't able to detect the taste of lemongrass though.
The staffs here are all so approachable and helpful, and with food and drinks that delicious, it was no wonder that this place was packed even on a freezing cold weeknight.

✅ Recommended: Pork spring rolls
💬 Review: really love the chilled ambience and friendly people who work here. If there’s one thing Hanoi Hannah gets right, it’s their spring rolls.. It was crispy, and the mince pork fillings were jam packed with flavour. Just. So. Good!!
We also ordered Vietnamese chicken rice and xo pho egg noodles, which came with pork and prawn. The pho soup was a little sweeter than usual and the pork tasted much better than the prawns. The chicken rice had generous amounts of salad and chicken. I found rice to be slightly dry and could do with a little bit more seasoning. If you don’t eat as much rice, it would be good to reduce rice portions to prevent food wastage. All in all, a good experience and I’ll be back!

We had a great meal, 4 people, fast service. Staff knew food really well. Good description by service staff as it was our first visit at this new location. Food was around Vietnamese cuisine but innovative and well thought thru as to modern ideas.
Order was delivered in a timely way. Good customer service when we ordered mineral water and the manager herself came over to apologise that the shipment had not arrived that day. She offered a free drink on the house.
A touch of hip'ness in layout adds to adventure :) To quote one of our party "a lovely dining experience".
We had our wedding anniversary dinner here. It was an amazing experience that is totally worth the rare 5th star.
We had the "vegan all in" that was a delicious 3 course meal.
Amazing starters of "prawn" crackers, with peanut satay to die for, spring rolls and pickled veg. Delicious.
Then eggplant / aubergine tacos: the texture was amazing with a deep fried taco made from something (not corn) that I can't remember sorry.
A delicious yellow curry, Thai style, was the main with some rice and a refreshing pickled veg salad (different to the starter)
The final cacao mouse had these delicious crunchy bits of yumminess it made it amazing.
Service was great too, they really looked after us, and made sure our choices were aligned with our vegan values :)
Very good experience eating here. Good service and delicious food! Hope you get better in new year🥰
This was an easy five star review. They nailed the service, food and atmosphere. I ordered the chicken ribs and duck. The ribs were very yummy but the duck was off the chart. Easily the best duck I’ve ever eaten. Congratulations and thanks!
Their lunch is amazing! Really loved the spring rolls and rolls!
Had an amazing dinner here, Isabel was the best waitress ever we loved her. Even got a complimentary birthday dessert.
Def coming back
