The bread was absolutely amazing! I love the combination of the seeds on top and it was a beautiful texture.
I also had the pistachio scroll which I ate before I remembered to take a photo because it looked do good!
It was quite unique. I didn't personally enjoy the flavour but the pastry was beautifully flaky and the ingredients were very interesting.

The country roll ($1) is so delicious I munched on it plain. It's flavoursome and sour, chewy with a gentle crunch on the outside, pillowy on the inside.

The ficlette ($2) is even more sour and has a densely chewy crust that separates from the pillowy inside.

Staff are friendly and helpful too. They had already sold out of all plain ficlettes by 11am on a Wednesday. Note the $10 Eftpos minimum!

Some of the best bread in Melbourne. Traditional crusty loaves with loads of flavour. Peacan and date buns are unbelievable as well as the country loaf. Go as early as possible.

Had brioche, plain fougasse and bagels. Have to say that the brioche was a clear winner! It was a nice balance of bitter and sweet with dark chocolate, orange rind and a sugar crust. Lovely soft interior and not too “eggy” or buttery- they got the balance bang on!

I can't believe that I'm the first person to review this bakery.

This newish bakery is situated on the main st and its in a big warehouse where they do all the baking so you know the bread is fresh.

The service was nice, and efficient. I ordered a light rye w caraway seeds. This bread had a great crust, it was chewy and a nice rye flavour, although I didn't taste any caraway flavour.

Then I ordered a sweet bun, which was absolutely delicious. It was soft and not really sweet despite the name.

The farmers bun I ordered was crusty, and crunchy and soft in the middle. Just perfect bread.

Then I ordered a small baguette which was crunchy and another winner.

This bread is worth travelling for lol.

🍞 country roll 💛 baklava escargot 🥯 brioche 🏠: @bakerbleu 📍: Caulfield 📝: Visited the famous Baker Bleu in Caulfield North yesterday and first time back during lockdown. Super busy and packed with a long queue outside back during my first visit! ❤️: Their Country Rolls RULEEEE 😍. Small white sourdough rolls with a chewy yet crispy crust—so good with jam and butter! Also had a try of the Baklava Escargot—Baker Bleu signature sourdough pastry with walnuts, halva, white chocolate & pastry cream.

Great little bakery! Would recommend going before 10:30am, as there is a line and they usually sell out. The stand out was the chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) !

Hoyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa - came here for croissants and the super country loaf. I had the sourdough in a sandwich at home and gahd dayum, it was so delicious. It was like pure magic, I had this at a restaurant last year and it was exactly the same. Highly recommend to anyone who wants their life changed for the better.

- Croissant-Plain $5 🥐 - Pain au chocolat $5.5 🍫 - Barberry & Pistachio Escargot $7 - Mushroom Pizza $12.5 🍕 Very impressed with their plain croissant and pain au chocolat. The flavour was simply gorgeous. It had the taste of the sourdough with a hint of sweetness but in a flakey texture. You might not be able to tell from the photos but the croissant was massive. I’m slight disappointed with the escargot. It was too dense. Felt like I was eating the berries separately. The mushroom pizza tasted good but the crust was too hard.

Nice bakery. We were lucky to just be ahead of the queue as we went early enough. As it was our first visit though, we didn't know what was on offer so felt a little pressured to make a decision quickly. The country loaf, bagels and pastries were all delicious. The rye and caraway loaf was tasty but needed just a touch more caraway.

#BMAfavourites - Loading up on carbs this weekend from the iconic Baker Bleu! There is definitely a bit of magic brewing at their bakery because everything I ordered from the Country Loaf to the Sesame Challah tasted like dreams and happiness ✨😍. Best decision I’ve made all lockdown!! 100% reccomend if you live within their radius or save it for post lockdown treats!

Best 'French' style bakery in Melbourne. Quality is as good as a traditional bakery in France. Prices are decent, you don't feel like you need to rob a bank to afford a croissant, compare to other places in Melbourne charging a premium because it is French food...

It is one of trendy bakery shop. We went to the one in Caufield and it is just for take away. there are 4-5seats outside. Lots of bread and metchandises as well. Bread is so tasty and chewy. it has unique size of bread and they accommodate what you like.
